You must be over 18 years of age to commission me, as you are entering into a legal agreement. As a commissioner you are expected to read, be familiar with, and follow this policy. It may be updated at any time. By commissioning me, you're stating that you are above 18 years old and that you agree to these terms.
Please do NOT rush me. Rushing is considered rude and causes unnecessary stress, both of which will make it harder to work and it will take longer.
Be civil and respectful. If you are not capable of this, I will refuse/cancel your commission, and will not consider commissions from you in the future.
Violation of these terms or any part of them can result in an immediate blacklisting for any future work
-Content
-- I WILL draw: human and humanoid, anthro, feral/quad animals, taurs, SOME copyrighted/official characters (at my discretion), any sex/gender and any pairing thereof, any rating, any age as long as the content is legal (ei: young characters and feral/quad animals are okay in 100% safe for work clean G-rated situations), most species (real and fantasy), most body types, light mech/tech (from small character features to simple fullbody robots/cyborgs/etc), indoor and outdoor scenes, multiple arms/legs/wings/etc (for additional cost)
-- I WILL NOT draw: MOST copyrighted/official characters (at my discretion), sonic style characters/art, inflation, hyper (muscles, genitalia, obesity), sexual situations that are violent/messy, illegal activity (rape, sexualized minors, bestiality, etc), drug use, watersports/scat (includes dirty diapers), internal views, detailed urban/city scenes, very detailed tech/mech
-- There are many things not included here. Feel free to ask if you have questions.
-Payment
-- Payment through Paypal only.
-- 50-100% of the commission must be paid up front, after the commission has been agreed upon. The commissioner can choose to make one payment, or installments.
-- Initial invoice must be paid within 48 hours. Full payment must be complete before the final image is given to the commissioner.
-- IMPORTANT: IF NOT PAYING VIA INVOICE (sketch stream, etc) – do not put anything about the commission content in the payment info AND make sure to mark as "goods/services" and “no shipping required”.
-Applying for a Commission
-- Follow the link provided or send an email to NixRayne[at]gmail.com showing your interest and you will be sent a commission form if I'm accepting new commissions. YOU MUST FILL OUT THIS FORM to apply for a commission.
-- You MUST have a good visual reference to order a commission. Exceptions MAY be made for thorough written descriptions, but it's rare.
- Process
-- Getting a Slot: apply for your commission by completing the required form. If you want more than one commission, you MUST fill out one form for each image. I will then email you with confirmation and a quote.
-- Payment: 50-100% of payment is due via Paypal Invoice 2 days after confirmation or your commission will be dropped. The commission will not be started until payment is received.
-- Sketch: You may change/edit/cancel the commission at any time before it has been started. I will draw a sketch of your commission and email it to you for review. Let me know ANY and ALL changes that need to be made at this time. Anything more than three (3) Work In Progress (WIP) sketches will cost extra, so it's important to state all changes right off the bat.
-- Inks and Coloring: WIPs are not sent for inks and colors unless requested. You CANNOT make any more major changes to the image once it has been inked, but I can fix colors/markings/piercings easily for no charge if I make errors.
-- Finalize: I will email you when your commission is finished. At this time, full payment must be received, and I will send you the files for your finished commission.
- Streaming
-- Very often, I livestream what I'm drawing. Joining in a stream is a great way to watch your commission be done and give realtime feedback about the art.
-- This in-stream feedback does not count toward the WIP limit mentioned above.
-- Due to timezones and life, I am not able to schedule streams at certain times to match a commissioner's schedule.
- Artist and Commissioner Rights
-- I have the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
-- I keep the rights to the art piece.
-- I reserve the right to use any commission I do for prints, portfolios, examples, etc. unless we discuss otherwise before the commission is started.
-- You DO have the right to take a sketch or line-art that I've done for you and have it colored, either by yourself, another artist, or me, as long as I am given credit for the original sketch/line-art.
-- You DO keep the rights to any of your characters shown in the image.
-- You DO have the right to repost the small/watermarked image anywhere you choose and to use the image for personal use, as long as credit is given to me with a LINK and no money is made from the image.
-- You DO NOT have the right to post any unwatermarked version of my art.
-- You DO NOT have the right to sell any part of the artwork in any way, shape, or form. This includes but is not limited to prints, portfolios, and paysites.
-- You DO NOT have the right edit the image in ANY way, except for the condition listed above or if you wish to make an icon out of it. This includes, but is not limited to: removing my signature/watermark, recoloring a colored image, adding text over the image and/or using it for an advertisement.
- Refunds
-- If the commission is canceled before it has been started, a full refund will be offered.
-- If the commission has been started, a partial refund will be offered.
-- If the commission is finished, a refund will NOT be available.
-- If for some reason I cannot complete your commission, I will inform you and offer you a refund.
-Privacy
-- I collect clients' contact and PayPal emails through FurAffinity and Google Drive, as well as whatever name the client has on file with PayPal, in order to accept and fullfill orders and collect payment.
-- I do not save or use any of the information collected except for personal/tax records.
-- No information collected will be shared with anyone, third-party or otherwise, unless it is the same client asking what information they used for a given commission.
-- If a client does not want their information saved in my records, the client should contact me about it and I will make sure it is all removed.

....and then there are some people buying commissions who don't -think-, and will put exactly what they're paying for in the paypal message in graphic detail
so since paypal can get in trouble with laws, and we can get in trouble with paypal and have our accounts shut down, it's just better to not have any of that info in the paypal message ^_^
usually if i have to send a payment to someone, i'll put "in-stream sketch" or "nix commission" or something vague like that
