Dead Space™ 3 Official Announce Trailer - E3 2012
Right right, well...
I was thinking about jumping on the DEAD "Resident Evil 5" bandwagon just now (when they're making part 6 already...), and I haven't started "dedicating my semen to Skyrim" yet, and then I was like...
...maybe it would be fun to get "Rage?" Because it moves at a nice 60fps and I probably get to shoot a whole lot of stuff while enjoying a nice glossy fps? You'll have to forgive me. I'm "slow," and I have a hard time solving the equation of how many "-ist" categories I fit under. BEEP BOOP FUCK THE TURRET~
Now entering "Take Me Seriously" Mode
So it looks like you're gonna run into a point where somebody tags along with you to hand out asses to their proper owners along WITH you

*puts his "kids gloves" on...*
NO, I~
- don't hate Dead Space
- don't look down on Visceral's game development capability
- am not dissing what all of this game's artists have poured their efforts into putting into this game (which is oddly an out of place perspective to have because as far as production values of visual - and yes, textual - artistry go in glorious pornorific 2012, it seems like everybody and their long-lost mother is pumping out GOD ALMIGHTY ON A REGULAR BASIS~ )
- AM NOT A MEMBER OF THE ILLUMINATI
- LEAVE ME ALONE. MY ARM HURTS~
...because in it's own right this game will still manage to kick very much ass regardless of the mass skepticism it will recieve for gearing itself towards the mainstream.
I saw a comment where a bloke said this game is like "Lost Planet." And what is Lost Planet, you might be wondering? Hang around the bargain bin. You might find out~
Then again, you can't really bust someone for creating something inspired,
Another thing to consider is that it can be a better gamble to simply try out the demo (should there ever be one) and decide for yourself whether or not the game is worth buying.
Are you with me? Great. Now that we've established that I'm not 10...
IT'S NOT GOING TO BE SCARY! But yeah, none of us are really scared of seeing the stuff that we may witness roaring through the streets IN REAL F*CKING LIFE when God comes back to take His people unto Himself...............are we? 8D
Let's put it this way:
Dead Space 1 (that I haven't conquered yet) did what Resident Evil 1 did, which worked (because "having a human soul" was "in" at the time...). Dead Space 2 made the concept sexy and sadistic, which Capcom never succeeded with doing to RE until Part...............ONE THE GAMECUBE REMAKE (I love you Mister Kennedy, but your sidekick is a hernia, and your game's pacing is
But in ignoring the fact that all the biggest game developers have spent the last decade give (JUST "give," and NOT "or take") being very, very busy coming out of their PS1/Dreamcast/N64/PS2/[original] Xbox/Gamecube...............Wii (YES, I DID. SHUT UP.) manic-depressive periods back when "hit and miss" was a way of life because they still UNDERSTOOD the pros and cons of "coolposing" and "maintaining lively consistency"...............
......except Hideo Kojima (THE MAN IS HUMBLE. FUCK YOU SON. )...
Yeah.
And THAT'S my review
...
...
...
...
I hope there not going for a more shock-and-awe kind of value, because even though Dead Space 2 progressed a little more towards those lines, it still held its own moments reminiscent of the first where you were on your own, progressing through the game with no help. I have seen that the trailer shows moments of co-operative gameplay, but judging by Visceral's pretty good job of balance in Dead Space 2, I say it may have a chance. I'm willing to bet it will.
The only thing that worries me is whether the game is trying to move towards designing bigger boss fights, because both the original and sequel of the game did not gear itself towards big boss battles, but rather smaller enemies in dangerous situations. Here we've got what looks like Lost Planet, with those thermal weak spots being shown for targets (and don't get me wrong, some of the bosses look pretty cool! The one faintly reminded me of the Hive Mind from the first game ) but hopefully all those smaller enemies will make it all worthwhile, too. Who knows, maybe the "Residential" sector of the game will have some good scenes of that classic "jump out and scare you" kind of moments...hehe.
Anyways, I can't wait to see what becomes of Issac, Ellie, and his new 'counterpart' in this latest chapter!
See? I put your long review, crunched it down, and spit it out into a single sentence, without the use of colorful text, or big words.
Trollolo~
I DIDN'T STEAL IT~
It was just an appropriate way to express how mechanical people can be when it comes to......................................................................................................BREATHING. -_-
And pie is delicious (except blueberry). We all know that (PI, however, just tastes like paper...............
because I know all about what paper and deodorant taste like~).I like Issac lots. I'm just a little disappointed about the fact that necromorphs don't have the same kind of motivation that the denizens of Silent Hill have (O_O).
But now.....
They are like all ' RAAAAWRRRRR, WE WANT TO FUCK U UP NOT MENTALLY, BUT PHYSICALLY ONLY! '
Dissappointment insues when they find they cannot stand against a Plasma Rifle fully upgraded, slicing away at every bit as they simply attempt to wildly fling themselves at you.
They should have simply stuck with the ' Hit and Run ' tactics of hiding in the shadows from the first game.
The 'biggins' amongst their ranks 'just want hugs', but don't know how to express it... X3
By the way, you gave me a good chuckle when you used my BEEP BOOP FUCK THE TURRET~ phrase. Well done, hard thing to do, with my type of humor.
Although, it seems our humor is quite alike in far too many ways, so it kinda destroys the challenge of making me laugh.....
With any Sci-fi game though can you really emulate Silent Hill? I mean just thinking of how the heroes progression with the monsters it seems that most Sci-fi horror games would eventually go the way of action survival. Silent Hill has the benefit of, its a new character each time thus they have no dealings with monsters prior (the character is meeting the things for the first time along with you) and each of the monsters is based around fears or flaws in that character. I just think with that recipe it would be easier to keep going in a survival horror way i guess (Its early and my vocabulary is limited so pardon for the stupid ways i put things)
Second Issac kinda becoming more of a badass as the games go on kinda makes sense doesn't it? I mean he knows what his enemy is, seen them before and only real change for him is what kinda sick twisted shape is it going to take now. Other than that its more an enemy he knows has to die rather than something were he's just trying to make it out alive. I think when they added that element to the story it kinda had to eventually shift toward more action survival.
Best movie reference i think you can make on this is the Alien series. First starts out Ripley an everyone is terrified of the alien creature. As it progresses she becomes familiar with the enemy and loses that initial fear in favor of more tension. By the end of that movie series she was a half-alien badass.
But ya this is just my two cents an all....goodbye X3
While your Alien hypothesis may hold true in some cases, it does not in this. I'm just going to point out now, that as the series went on, every movie got WORSE. WOOOORRRSSSEEEEE.
They are messing with what made the first game great, turning it into now something akin to ' Drakes Deception ', or whatever that so called ' Hard Hitting ' big PS3 game is.
Trash, is what it is.
