Welcome!

Greetings and Welcome to the first journal here on ATF! This is more of a testing of the waters journal than anything, really. We've already had some fun shouts! So, let's all jump in! New, or potential members, what led you away from theism and/or theists? Offended guests- express yourselves!
Suggestions on features of the group and/or future discussions are always welcome!
Pool Rules:
Keep any and all arguments intelligent, please.
Refrain from name calling.
Wishing death or harm against either group will earn you a ban.
No running.
No diving.
No canon balls.
No blowing spit wads at the lifeguard.

So I start with a question. How can space end? Some say that it will eventually stop but then you would have to hit a wall or just just blank. But that means that there is something there. It might be nothing but it still keeps going. And if it keeps going then there is a chance for any thing to happen based on the idea that if you flip a coin enough times it will eventually land on heads. Even if you make the numbers bigger it will eventually happen. And then how can time end? So you have an infinite amount of times to flip the coin. So because the odds of it happening has, is, or will happen.
Now with that said. We have no idea what is out there. This is just based on my own opinions of what the cosmos holds within it. Which I think is a lot, because I think it never ends. But like I said. At the end of the day, not a single one of us knows that answer.
I see the walls of text up there, reminds me of my debate days on faveboom, which I gave up on because instead of bringing facts to the table, theists prefer to throw tantrums and claim persecution. I speak about atheism and anti-theism on twitter now, mostly. I have two twitter accounts and I use one for furry stuff and one for atheism.
Pretty active in the twitter atheist communjty, thinking about blogging soon.
Religion is a poison to humanity and must be eradicated.
Im almost 33, went form agnostic to athiest since a priest religion teacherin my catholic elementry school littlerly smacked the doubt into me over 28 years ago.
I left the church at the age of reason (14) at a time where ethics classes didint exist and most schools still had mandatory religion class mostly yewish and catholic in a mix.
Luckily my famely is either atheist or doesnt give much about belive, at least big parts do.
Greeting from germany, a country that still has a church tax if you are member of either jewish or christian (catholic or evangelical) denomination, where often times crossen hang in scools, if they are churchran, but the taxpayer
pays anyway for their partial misseducation of kids. Churchrun hospitals that only by court oorders treat women that have been raped to give them the pill after. And where arabic 'refugees' mobraped many women on newyears eve in parts to show their religious motivated dominance against women in the city of cologne. And the police put a tarp over teh whole thing becasue they were to affraid to act from either fear or beeign called out as racist.
So, theres my motive to fight bad ideas where ever they come from. I'm tollerant to most ppl as long as they are the same to me, and unless it harms someone activly or passivly through their actions and/or inactions.
