Rules and Regulations
These must be followed by all who wish to leave comments on this page or participate in discussions, else their comments be deleted and their usernames banned. These rules are to weed out the trolls and the hate-mongers of both sides of the argument. I don't like having to silence people, but in order to remain civil, sometimes it must be done.
Our Code of Conduct
1,) Respect PEOPLE.
We DO NOT and WILL NOT respect ideas and beliefs by definition. Ideas and beliefs are not deserving of respect, as they are not people. This rule simply means no name calling. You can infer that people are BEING stupid, but do not directly call them stupid. Use your tact. Watch the way you word your statements. Accidents do happen, and we can forget this rule is we get rabid. Therefore, warnings will be administered (sometimes generously), but if you continue to disregard this rule, you will be banned.
2.) RESEARCH before putting forth a claim.
Obviously, we don't expect everyone to do this religiously (pun not intended), but when making a direct claim (particularly a strong one), do look it up to make sure what you're saying is correct. We all delight in being on the right side of things. Don't mess it up by being ignorant of your stances.
3.) CITE YOUR SOURCES!
When researching and quoting, always, always, ALWAYS provide a link to black up your claim. Of course, experience may be listed.
These are three simple rules in which it takes to be a successful member and/or commentator of this group. Failure to abide after warnings and obvious trolling will result in a ban. No exceptions.
