Posted 9 years agoCan anyone tell me if a windows surface is good for drawing furry porn on? I keep going to best buy to demo one but all their floor model's pens are borked >=c
Wondering if I should get that or go all out on one of the Wacom tabs that have a screen but I'd rather not if something cheaper will do the trick.

Posted 10 years agoKinda in a rough patch at the moment, its not nearly as bad as it could be but its still not great. I've been trying to secure a job for the past month to no avail.. It's like every interview I go into feels good and I leave thinking I have it but I get a rejection email later on. I never really had much self worth prior to this but this pattern sure as hell isn't helping me much.
I just want security. I want to start my life. And I feel like the world is just holding me down. It sucks and it kills my mental health. One night in particular was incredibly bad, I won't go into detail.
All I can do is try and keep my chin up and keep on moving.

$8 for a sketch.
$16 for lineart and/or flats
$20 for the full thing (lines, color, and shading)
keep in mind, I do not draw:
-scat
-hard vore
-blood or other types of gore
-Cartoon show characters (exception being pokemon/digimon)
I LOVE to draw:
+inflation
+fats
+hyper
+anything you can find in my gallery really~

Sorry ive been so inactive the past few days or so. My activity won't really return to normal for a while. I'm graduating college next month and I'm in the job hunt and cram of capstone course work. So not until I secure a good job things here won't be to amazingly interesting, sorry.
Also with the IMVU stuff, as long as I don't see any of that stuff penetrate content here I'll stay here. FA has the UI I have come to know and love so switching to Weasyl or whatever alternative is kinda the last thing I want to do

Posted 10 years agoI'm thinking of doing another your character here thing but I was wondering if people had some ideas of the topic? I kinda want to go for something that is doable within 4-5 frame sequence. And I'm one of those bizarre people that want story behind stuff so don't just tell me, "oh they are puffing up just because o3o" I have one word for that boring. >.> So if anyone reading this thinks they have a good suggestion for a YCH drop it in a comment~!
I also like the idea of a suggestion box for everyday sketchy stuff so I may implement one of those soon too, not sure..

It's Time...
Posted 10 years agoI wasn't looking forward to this but it is time to look for a new computer...
I've been screaming at my current one all morning.
Cant play Dungeon Defenders all of a sudden which is just WHAT? why would it work one day and the next nope... nothing has changed...
So down to business I'm looking for a build that would let me play at least Dying light (cuz I was stupid and bought that game before checking the system requirements)?
I would like to spend under 1200 but if I need to go higher I guess I'll have to :/

Posted 10 years ago So, A bit of a falling out. Feeling completely separated from being a furry? I have no clue how to actually put it. But I get jealous of the connections people have with others, I want to be included with everyone here... What's stopping me? Real life, I've got so much going on right now its turning me into a shell of a person.
Turns out that two "capstone" classes (classes you can only take if you are a senior year student) is a stupid butt load of stressful work. So drawing has been put on the back burner for some time now, taking it down here and there to do little things. But for the most part been stressed out and doing nothing but work in my spare time. I must confess though I have been playing Destiny as well to help take the edge off my mood.

Game is Scrapped(for now)
Posted 10 years agoJust done I can't stand that I can't find a single answer to the issue I'm having.
The last try of mine is sitting in my scraps as "test" all it does is display "Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong wmode or missing device support." All the solutions call for editing the HTML the swf is embedded in, which I have no control.
All in all I hate Actionscript 3 now

Posted 10 years agoNever thought I would reach this point in my life where I honestly don't care that its my birthday.
Schools been off and on busy, some weeks I don't have any work to do while others I have to cram five assignments into a night. Software Engineering is fun though contacting our clients every week can be a bit tedious especially if we have nothing new to show or anything. Been spending my free time sketching or playing video games, you know the usual. XP

Back to School
Posted 10 years agoJust letting those of you who are wondering what the Dox has been up to.
Finally set up back at college which was just a 2 day ordeal, lots of sweat and driving. Now that is out of the way I can focus on class junk and more importantly back into the drawing zone~.
Got pretty far with the programming of my game. As soon as I get DragonBones working Ill have some animations to slap into the game and let you guys take an early alpha run with it ^w^
I'm not really sure where i can post this game either the SWF that is compiled needs an HTML wrapper to run unless its opened in a standalone SWF player? I have no way to work around this problem, so I'm resorting to setting up a small web server. Now the problem with that is the device I'm slapping this onto is also a device I will need to use for class.... sooo there might be ALOT of downtime as I need to switch cards from Furry inflation game to class work.. XD
One last thing, I made myself a twitter and I think I'm getting the hang of using it (lol I'm such a noob) so if you want to fallow it should be Dox2057
I'll probably use it to let you all know what I'm doing and how the game is coming along. maybe even some TMI Tuesday? Kinda been itching to do that for a while now XD just kept forgetting about it when Tuesday came along...

Driving Scare
Posted 10 years agoWas driving to work like normal right? .. I got to the usual rush hour traffic around Albany NY. We are pretty much normal speed for the north way when the car in front of me romps on the breaks. I go to press on mine and they work for about 10 feet before the petal dropped out from under my foot and the brake line blew. Had to dive into the median and throw on the ebrake and hope for the best.
Result: No damage to the car other than the blown breaks, No damage to any other car, I'm perfectly fine, 200 dollar tow home, lost 2 hrs of work this morning. Oh and i backed up traffic something fierce, like 4 exits behind me.. people are stupid and slow down to gawk at me =I

I'm only accepting 5 slots at this time, and the form will automatically close after logging that many, so first come first serve.
DO NOT send payment before I have notified you to do so.
I reserve the right to deny a commission if (1) I do not feel I have the time or resources to complete it. (2) I am not comfortable drawing the content the description calls for. Denying of a commission will happen before payment is received and will be locked into accepting after payment.

Big plans, one small pump at a time
Posted 11 years agoJust posting a journal since i'm a little restless tonight and i feel i need to post so deal with it XP
I'm two weeks in on my new job. So i havnt really got all that much time to draw or relax now. Joining the real world sucks, weekends are the best tho. But even then I'm taken out of the house by family or friends. Hate loosing time to draw or play games with my furiends. However, i know there will come a day when we all part ways so I've been living it up with them as much as i can while I'm still home.
I have also been chipping away at a secret project, I'm taking a full swing at a platformer. Spent a whole 13 hours today trying to make a freaking sprite working... was a flipping nightmare. So many times i tried to get Adobe flash bone animations actually working. Gave up on that method after smacking my head against the wall for 12 hrs and decided to go and draw each frame. Like ffs you'd think it would be easy right? Nah not at all.. you make one little mistake on some nitpicky little thing and the whole thing needs to be scrapped. Its over im done with that method pain right in the rump! Anyway i hope to post something for you guys to run around with next week. Once i get everything cooperating with me i may even open commissions for people who want to play as their own character. that is, if i can't get a character creator working. I plan on getting it to work but that's way down the road.
In other drawing news i want to start something i'm gonna call, "Sketchmission Saturdays." Where I'll open for 10 sketch commission slots and stream as i draw them up. It will be 10 USD a slot(no background just poses or simple 1 to 2 character scenes). This will be a weekly thing. At least three will be done in the stream with the other 7 in reserve if i feel like getting to them. If they prove easy to knockout, I'll open to line and color commissions too, but I'll decide on that after doing a few. I'll post more in depth info on this tomorrow or Tuesday. DO NOT NOTE ME FOR A SLOT BEFORE I OPEN TO EVERYONE PLS.

I'm in need of funds, and before you think I'm low enough to beg for money, I'm not nor do I ever plan on simply asking people to throw hard earned cash at me. That's against my moral code. That being said I think its time to open for commissions.
So here's my plan, before I completely settle on pricing I'm going to try a YCH auction to get a feel for how much you fluffs value me. To be honest I'm expecting dissapointment in doing this but I hope I'm wrong. But who knows.
Gonna be completely transparent about what commission money I make will go to..
1. I really need a new PC, the one I have is going on 5 years. The thing takes almost 45 minutes to startup.
2. School... those of you who know me enough know that I freakout(to the point of small panic episodes) at the shear notion of how much my parents and myself owe in student loans. And I hope I generate enough revenue to help punch a hole in that bill with a job over the summer but maybe I can hit a little harder with commission work. Every little bit helps.
So be on the lookout for that YCH and commission info

I just have so many things weighing down on me at times
in the span of that week:
-had to spend 500 dollars on books for class...
-went over due on a payment to my credit card cuz the bills were mailed to school and not home
where I was over break -600 dollars again..
-Grandmother passed away about 10 hrs after I left from what I knew was the last time I was gonna
see her alive
-Funeral, ima big flipping emotional baby and cried lots
-Startup company I work for has yet to pay me since September. Had actually been counting on that
to help pay for books and the gas charges I had on my card
-school work woo... fucking homework that takes 5 hours to complete just about every night, thanks
differential equations and cryptology
-worrying about this summer weather or not I'm gonna have an internship cuz i need money for
school
-mother getting mad at me, thinking I'm off skipping through the fucking fields and sniffing
daisies because I didn't remember to email my uncle about a job where he works
And finally, I feel like I'm walking on fucking eggshells drawing here... Because apparently
drawing my mate more than other people is a crime. Sorry but he is going to be my favorite, that's
it theres no other way about this. For one, he's my flipping mate so get your damn snout out of
