Yilares is was a traditional artist who prefers graphite to paper, but doesn't draw much. Constantly in thought and feels driven to better understand the natural, unnatural, and metaphysical universes as well as anything that can be perceived. Yilares has decided to write this in third person for some reason, should probably sleep, and also has chosen to keep people guessing as to gender.
Yilares is an herbalist who has for the past number of years gained much knowledge and understanding of herbal medicine, incense and aromatherapy. Recently, Yilares has decided it's past time to showcase those products offered, especially the custom, unique smudge sticks and stuff.
An amateur alchemist, Yilares tries to quantify and numerate observations and structure what is perceived.
Prefers to draw from nature or incorporate a wild intensity into drawings and a whimsical power into writings.

Update (be sky, etc)
I've been having trouble staying on top of life since the end of the year. I'm safe, relatively speaking, but I did have to evacuate last month due to fires and had to toss nearly everything in my fridge due to blackouts. My garden is flowering late, and I'm still really upset about metal contaminating a bunch of my garden which means I am restricting what plants I eat from where and also ending a decade of crafting products from my garden for good. The plants don't seem worse off from it, but they'll be more resilient than I will in the long run from this kind of thing. I don't want to get into it too much; it was maybe preventable, but it will only be fixed by either completely destroying my garden or letting nature self-correct over a very long period of time (I did some research).
In lighter news, I'm now active on Bluesky and will put that in my bio. Flowers are coming to my garden, I have a new computer, and I have a que of photos slowly accumulating for postage. I'm less picky on Bsky, so you're welcome to follow me there for a larger assortment of photos and updates.
I'm doing my best to stay positive. Please, be as safe as you can, everyone.
