I can't work on commissions, but I gotta stay in practice.
So here's some more Zorori fan art. Tried a few subtle new things here.

I honestly just assumed this was a screenshot when I was scanning through the front page of your Tumblr, and ignored it (only vaguely familiar with the source material).
You did a really good job with the character style. I have to say that there are some big differences between this and the cartoon in the style of the surrounding environment, though (I don't know if you were trying to make the background similar, too).
I think I liked the version with the blacker shadows on Fox Guy a little better - I don't know if it was you or someone else who posted that version on AGDG:

I'm not like an art expert, though. And I certainly don't have an all-consuming shadow fetish like that one dude.
P.S. what did you DO to that guy

I don't really know what his issue is. He's very mean-spirited. But I won't let it keep me from at least listening to his criticism enough to think about what I'm doing.
It prompted me to do some more studying, to see if there's more I can learn. I especially dug into some reading material about composition.
As for the background, I knew from the start I wouldn't be able to match those pro anime backdrops, but I aimed to at least manage a facsimile of the environment itself.
I'm very new to painting landscapes, so I still have a ways to practice.

Well, hello there! :D
Sorry if I'm coming out of absolutely nowhere, but I've been in another Zorori mood lately, and I must say, it's really nice to see new Zorori fanart popping up every once in a while. You did a fabulous job in general with the characters, and I can see the subtle differences in the way that you did the head and the bodies between the source material and your style, but it all works and flows fabulously together. Great job on this!
Coloring and shapes are perfect, though the ears seem just a little off to me. Not sure why it feels that way, but other than that, this is amazing. :3
Still have trouble telling the difference between Ishishi and Noshishi when I can't hear their voices.
