Another flat art, this time for the ever sweet and kind  mickykitsune

What can I say beyond holy carp are sea critters hard to do heh! I actually loved doing all the fins and frills (even if the arm and leg frills look a lot more plant like than I wanted...) This was a lot of fun to do and again I love the composition in it! The huge tail was just a blast to draw and I just adore the colours used. Background is generic and terrible I know but trying out new things with manga studio.

This drawing also marks the first real test of my new yiynova tablet and all I can say is I'm blown away by how amazing it is! Having been using a little bamboo fun for years, this was a huuuuge upgrade and worth every penny!
