Their name is Dia, Dia is male - but prefers to be referred to as them/they or just Dia.
Dia is a palace dancer & was bought by the King soon after their birth.
This is why Dia has no buds or braids in their tail because they have never met any of their kinsmen.

(Also Dia is always confined to the palace, there is no need for them to braid/tie their tails - nothing for it to snag on... and no danger. :'7 )
