well those are supposed to be muscle... i havent actually made them anatomically correct, i just played around in photoshop to make em look like muscles without actually checking what kind of muscles are where on a dolphin... i guess the "boobs" are traps (yeah like dolphins need ones)...
yeah see that's the issue. doin a muscle picture without actually knowing what the msucles underneath look like simply just can't come out looking like sense. it's like those prim musclefurs in Secondlife. The dorsal fin could also use work it looks like a shark's.

Note the curve in shape, they are made entirely of cartilage and are flat, yours almost seems like there's one frontal bone and thinner skin behind it. The dorsal is a flat smooth surface.

yyyyeah this is how this model looked like before i morphed it... now since theres no anatomy pics of dolphins whatsoever online anywhere (if there are id be glad to see them and make it more realistic)... please dont eat me because you dont like how it looks. You are entitled to your opinions, but atleast try to be constructive...
This model was supposed to be over the top muscular... not look like normal dolphin...

i thought i was. i explained what a dorsal fin looked like and linked to reference images of ow a properly shaped one looks like. I critiqued it as if you had made the model because you gave no credit otherwise. It's kind of hard to know you didn't make the model when you don't say you didn't.
I didn't say it was supposed to look like a dolphin, i did say that more research could have been done into dolphin musculature before randomly placing muscles as you yourself admitted to doing. That would be like me drawing a body builder without researching human anatomy. it would look quite silly if i just threw muscles down randomly. search google for dolphin dissection, that's pretty much the only way to see the insides without going to a library. Research isn't always at the touch of the internet.

ot was a dolphin originally, all i did i made displacement mapping for muscles and morphed the mesh (bulked it up) i didnt touch the dorsal fin except i made it alittlebit thicker... thats all i did and before i started on muscles i wanted to get an anatomy musclechart somewhere, but try to find one... i couldnt find it so i just thought it up... Ofcourse its not natural, that was the point of this character to make it look over the top... Yours is only constructive post here... thanks for it.
