Wait, so.... Is she a monkey, then? Not a lemur??

no shes a lemur as i stated in my info :) with a bit of red roughed lemur thrown in for the fluffy aspect hahaha gonna add that in to the info now.

Ahhh, OK. I was just confused because you said "she looks more like a monkey now", but lemurs aren't monkeys & don't have a monkey face or monkey features, etc.! So, if she's a lemur, she shouldn't look like a monkey at all.... > x >

Oh yeah, for sure, haha! She looks a lot better now than she used to!! -- Artistic freedom is cool; lemurs are just very misunderstood animals, and people often mistake them for other animals (rodents, marsupials, monkeys, etc.), so I just try to point out that they're their own separate family & don't really share anatomy with those other animals!

Like, for example, the difference between lemurs & monkeys is that lemurs have a slim, fox-like muzzle with a wet nose (whereas monkeys have wide, flat snouts, with dry noses, more like a human!!)

yeah :( i tried drawing a long snout like an actual lemur but i really struggle with canine snouts as it is so an even pointier face was really hard and just didn't look nice. thats why she looks how she does. love ma self a fat nose hahaha thanks for the tips though
