Oh man, this looks absolutely amazing! The sheer detail on everything is just breathtaking, down to the sun shimmering on the surface of the water, the distant boats and the even more distant mountains. You've done a fantastic job of not only setting a scene but making the city below feel like a real place filled with real people going about their day-to-day lives. It looks like a very interesting place to explore, and is no doubt filled with all manner of wonder and excitement. The character herself is absolutely gorgeous, too. I love her flowing red dress, and the way it's complimented by her hair and tail flowing back so elegantly along with the clothing. The sword at her hip suggests someone who can take care of herself, and who may find herself involved in much of the excitement of the city, too. And it's all just a really wonderfully well done picture all around!
Glad to get to see this, your work is always gorgeous regardless of the subject - you really caught the essence of a ancient merchant city there, and the way a successful merchant would look in such times, so much detail. :3 I'm especially fond of the gold-embossings on various parts of the decor and how sunny the city looks like, the yellow theme works out really well and contrasts with her red clothing~
