Yeah, to this day when I hear something buzzing in my ear, I kinda panic a bit just due to those events as a kid (mostly jerking away and looking about for the source). But that said, I can appreciate the sort of bug girl above just fine--they have an appeal all their own, even if I don't like their real-life brethren! :)
