It's way past 5 p.m. The last judging session just finished and so the tired polar bear returned to his chambers in the Court of Law; he knew that he had a last appointment for the day, so he greeted you with a nod as he entered his office, closing the door behind himself before sitting on his magnanimous chair. He collected a few papers that his assistand left there beforehand - Todd was always such a dear - to grasp the situation that you'd like to discuss with the judge.

"Your Honor..." you begin, unable to finish your sentence. The ursine coughed a bit, clearing his throat, before giving you a serious look, straight into your eyes.

"Mr. Maxwell, I can understand quite well why you're here today. I understand that your client needs help, but any affirmative action may become the target of many sources of criticism towards the court and myself in this case. Also, there's something rather interesting about yourself that's caught my attention, I must say."

You heard that and displayed a bewildered expression. What did he meant by that? And why he was grinning towards you like that? The bear gave a sinister, menacing look while spreading his legs and taking away his top hat before he began to talk again.

"Actually, your client came to talk to me. In fact, not only him, but many other people that hired you before, and all of them seemed to have the same trouble: you vanishing with their money after some time, never to give any satisfation later."

....you gulped hard, feeling your face turn red with the accusation. You weren't expecting to hear it, so the reaction was quite sincere. What did the polar bear had in mind...?
