The time has come again for another spotlight! In the spirit of the season, I tried to kick off this episode with some darker, spookier tracks. As a result, I think this episode ended up with quite a wide range of feelings and emotions between all the pieces. Hold on tight, it’ll be a bumpy ride, but I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless.
Here’s all the pieces that caught my attention this week:
Great submissions as always and I look forward to seeing many more at the beginning of November.

Thank you so much for spotlighting my tribute. You hit the nail spot on with what the track represents for me. That life is mysterious, haunting, yet beautiful. I am sure Blackwervolk would have loved for his music to be spread and his message and heart to be read through his music. So thank you <3
The pieces spotlighted here are very varied. I was especially surprised with the quality of "Clockwork Apocalypse" Definitely giving them a watch now. As that's after all what the spotlight is about. Discovering great hidden talent in the fandom. Thank you for all that you do. And if you ever need a spotlight host I am always available.

I was pretty surprized to see my work spotlighed here but when I saw familliar song name in the first comment I was surprized even further. Thank you so much for this kind words, you made my self-esteem rise today a bit.
You are most welcome. I actually felt bad because I had no idea he had passed away until you submitted your tribute piece, even though I've always followed him fairly closely. Either way, I'm glad I was able to accurately portray both your message and his. I actually teared the first few times I tried to record that last voice over.
If you're interested in being a spotlight host, drop a note to DJ Puppy via the furry musicians page. I definitely would like to continue doing spotlights, but have been contemplating the idea of switching between hosts, both for some variety and to give me some more free time to work on and post my own music :)

Thanks for sharing your awesome cover, I've always rather liked your voice.
UuUuUuUh, such a great intro! *rattles chains*
Can't say I have ever been to a haunted house, or at least I don't remember. I actually really like both silence and darkness. Although obviously that might change quiet dramatically, depending on the setting, lol.
My spookiest experience probably was this: I slept over at a friend's one day, we both slept in the room where, as he told me, his grandpa died.
Well, something touched my arm in the middle of the night. It really felt like someone poked my arm with their finger. I took a look around immediately, but my friend was just lying there, and not within an arm's reach. Also I was still awake when that happened and everything was completely silent, so it definitely wasn't him just pulling a prank on me.
That was really spooky. =x Apparantly there was other weird stuff going on, too.

That sounds pretty spooky indeed! I'll admit, silence can be relaxing and comforting in some scenarios.
Never been to a haunted house before but my friends and I did go to a few abandon areas in the middle of the night. The scariest part was fear of being jumped by some random junkies or something.
Great job everyone!
Great job everyone!
I used to do a bit of urban exploration back in college. Often times the locations were equal parts interesting and scary. The abandoned train station was mostly just interesting, and I never got a chance to explore the nearby, 26-floor, abandoned psychiatric ward, which was supposedly just terrifying. Thankfully we never ran into anyone else.
Horror...it’s not something I like to experience because I was chased by someone with a chainsaw in a haunted house....when I was five years old. My mom was waiting at the exit and was hearing me crying from it. That was the first and last haunted house I’d gone to
Hearing these tracks is full all kinds of stories the composers and arrangers made for this spotlight ^^ can’t wait to hear the music after Halloween and see what songs are made then :)

That's a pretty traumatizing way to be introduced to haunted houses. I've also been chased by someone with a chainsaw, but I was in college, so I didn't really react at all, probably much to the disappointment of the actor trying to scare people.
If I was introduced to haunted houses when I could actually feel brave, I probably wouldn’t mind Halloween
