Specialty Transformation Costume
Housemaid – Lolita style
This costume transforms the wearer’s physical appearance into that of a stereotypical maid of the Victorian variety, with an added flavor of cuteness for a modern Lolita look. While clothing is the primary feature of this costume’s transformations, the body and mind of the wearer also undergo related changes.
Out of the package, it resembles a plain maid outfit exactly as shown in Level 1. Matching undergarments are also included. It is highly recommended the wearer use only materials from this specific costume and no other clothing of any kind. Foreign clothing will not transform with the wearer and may cause unexpected side effects.
Although designed primarily for female use, any human or humanoid can don the costume. The special fabric will stretch or shrink to fit any body size or type, as long as the wearer is bipedal and has no more than two arms and one head. Tails, wings, and other animalistic appendages may be accommodated, if not by the primary costume, than by one of its species-specific variants.
Upon donning the costume, the wearer will change into a female if they are not already female. (The costume does not change the species of the wearer.) Once the wearer is fully female, the costume will begin to transform itself and change the wearer into a maid of the desired level.
There are five levels to this costume, the first being the basic costume. Subsequent levels expand upon this version and enhance the wearer’s physical and mental state, building toward the highest level, where the wearer becomes the epitome of a maid stereotype.
Levels can be adjusted by pressing a pen or other thin object against a specific box on the tag in the dress for five full seconds. The boxes are labeled with the following options:

The costume can be set by anyone, not just the wearer.
Demonstration Mode is a preset programmed to begin at Level 1 and move up one level every ten to sixty minutes. The amount of time between Levels is determined by how many seconds the Demostration box is pressed beyond the initial 5 seconds. One second of pressing equals ten minutes of wear time. (Example: A setting of 30 minutes’ delay requires the box to be pressed against for 8 seconds; 5 seconds to set the costume to Demo Mode plus an additional 3 to set the time.)
The costume’s effects last for as long as it is worn. The wearer must remove ALL parts of the maid costume. Once fully disrobed, the wearer will instantly return to their original state. If someone other than the wearer removes some or all of the costume’s components, the wearer will NOT transform back immediately. How long the subject will remain in the female maid body type depends on the length of time the costume was worn and the level the costume was set to. (Longer wear time and higher levels constitute a longer lag period before the transformation reverses itself.) In most cases, the wearer’s mental state should restore itself faster than her physical form.
The following chart is a description of the costume’s levels and their effects. For the purposes of these directions, the wearer is referred to in the female gender, regardless of her original gender before donning the costume.
LEVEL 1
CLOTHING: The plainest of all costume types, for a universal appearance that won’t draw an unwanted amount of attention. This is the costume’s base form, which it will default to once removed no matter what level it was set to.
BODY: The wearer’s body does not change from her original appearance, unless she was not already a female. (In the example image, our model was a female before donning the costume, and therefore has not physically changed in any way.)
MIND: The wearer begins to exhibit minor urges to organize the area around her, be it her own home, someone else’s, or a public space. Acts can range from unconsciously straightening a picture frame to rubbing out smudges from nearby surfaces. These tendencies can be supressed with a small amount of concentration, but the wearer may not even notice she is acting any different. Her original personality remains dominant, although more rambunctious or impertinent individuals may find their attitude slightly tempered overall.
LEVEL 2
CLOTHING: An extension of the basic design with added wearable accessories. (Note: Pictured model is holding a feather duster for demonstration purposes only. The costume does not generate non-wearable props.)
BODY: The wearer shrinks 1 to 2 inches from her original height. If her hair was originally longer than her waist, it will shrink to that length. Curlier hairstyles will be smoothed out into a wave.
MIND: The wearer demonstrates a conscious desire to tidy up her immediate area. Her verbal communication becomes more formal, using the titles “sir” or “ma’am” when addressing family, authority figures, and anyone unfamiliar to her. She develops an obedient nature that will cause her to agree to minor tasks she wouldn’t normally accept, such as fetching food and drink. She will, however, still be able to consider and decline tasks that she finds unreasonable. All of these tendencies can be suppressed and the wearer’s original behavior completely maintained, but only through constant, deep concentration. Specific parts of her behavior can be controlled more easily, at the expense of letting the others show. At this level, even the most uncouth individuals will become noticably docile and complacent if they don’t concentrate hard to push the maid tendencies aside.
LEVEL 3
CLOTHING: This design is a traditional French Maid affair, formalized with long stockings and frilly trim.
BODY: The wearer shrinks 3 to 5 inches from her original height. If her hair was originally past her waist, it will shrink to that length and become completely straight, with bangs at the forehead regardless if they were there before. Color will trend to a light brown if the wearer’s hair was originally darker. Her skin becomes paler and unblemished. She takes on a more slender appearance, becoming more nimble and light on her feet. She also gains a small amount of extra stamina.
MIND: The wearer comfortably accepts the role of a maid, while holding onto critical elements of her original personality. She is readily obedient to friends and family members, as well as to authority figures, going so far as to occasionally consider a suggestion as a serious order. She may or may not follow the instructions of a stranger or someone she dislikes. She will not accept orders that she finds extremely unreasonable, however she will still take a moment to consider whether to accept them or not. Even when rejecting an order, she will do so with tact. She never adopts a rude tone. She addresses everyone as “sir” or “ma’am,” regardless of familiarity, and uses somewhat formal speech without contractions or accents. If left on her own and with nothing more important to do, she will organize and clean her immediate area with expert efficiency and detail. At this level, her expertise reaches beyond cleaning, expanding upon any of her preacquired knowledge of cooking and child care. She walks carefully, at all times maintaining prim posture and a calm demeanor, although she can break out into somewhat more eccentric attitudes when a pressing situation arises. At this level, it is impossible for the wearer to make her original personality completely resurface. She can only suppress a fraction of her newfound tendencies with extreme concentration, but any distraction can shatter her focus and cause her to default to a maid’s attitude.
LEVEL 4
CLOTHING: A heavily-embellished costume taking advantage of many aspects of Lolita fashion.
BODY: The wearer shrinks 4 to 7 inches from her normal height. If her hair was originally past her shoulderblades, it will shrink to that length, with bangs at the forehead regardless if they were there before. The hair is gathered into two straight, dirty blond pigtails. Her complexion pales noticably, and she gains a hint of blush on her cheeks and color in her lips. Wearer takes on a more slender appearance, becoming more nimble and light on her feet. She also gains a good amount of extra stamina.
MIND: The wearer is plunged into her subservient role to the point where she constantly oversells her maid attitude. She addresses family members as “Master” or “Mistress,” and everyone else “sir” or “madam.” She has great difficulty declining any order from a family member, authority figure, or very close friend. She sincerely wishes to make their lives more pleasant. She may even treat an off-hand comment such as “I’m thirsty” as a command to fetch water. She becomes extremely capable in many areas of home maintenance, including cleaning, cooking, sewing, and child and pet care. She cowers when spoken to directly by anyone other than a friend, treating their word as unbreakable law, except under the most absurdly extreme conditions, or when they conflict with “orders” from people she is the most loyal to. Even when interacting with friends of her own social status, she always feels the lesser person, following their orders when she deems it proper and addressing them formally. She has difficulty maintaining eye contact with anyone above her status or age. She walks pigeon-toed, hands on top of each other and pressed into her apron. She curtsies upon greeting someone. She is uncomfortable with any kind of physical contact, even if it is required for her current duties. She rarely speaks up for herself, usually only if her life, health, or someone else’s life or health is jeopardized. No amount of concentration can help her regain more than a sliver of her original personality, and the few cracks in her persona that show will last mere seconds at a time.
LEVEL 5
CLOTHING: An exaggerated array of flourishes, expressing the pure, elegant beauty of a female servant. The wearer will experience mild discomfort due to the exessive weight and heat of the multiple layers. Mobility will also be severely restricted, forcing the wearer into the most delicate and feminine of poses and movements. This level is not recommended for anyone intending to utilize the costume for large cleaning projects, though if unchecked, the wearer may launch into such an arduous undertaking anyway. (See Mind section below.)
BODY: The wearer shrinks 6 to 12 inches from her normal height, becoming shorter than almost any adult woman. Her hair becomes completely straight and turns a golden blond. It is worn at chin-length in two pigtail ringlets. Bangs cover her forehead. Her complexion pales drastically, augmented by rosy red blush at the cheeks and pink lips. The wearer takes on a very thin and agile build, yet maintains appropriate strength and a large amount of stamina to see her though the toughest of household tasks.
MIND: The wearer’s behavior is completely overwhelmed by that of a loyal maid. She follows all orders, instructions, requests, suggestions, and even hints of everyone around her. She may even take preemptive measures and anticipate people’s needs before being asked for something, for example, readying bowls of sugar and cream if someone puts on a pot of coffee. She prioritizes orders based on who she is most loyal to; likely parents and best friends. If none are around, she prioritizes any nearby friend or authority figure. Her mode of maidly behavior adapts to her immediate surroundings. If she were at home, she would clean the entire place. If she were to enter a restaurant, she would immediately start bussing tables and washing dishes. No matter what task lies before her, she will carry it out with flawless efficiency and expertise. She devotes her every waking second to serving others, and when none are around, she takes it upon herself to find a chore. Her speech is extremely formal and direct. She addresses everyone by name; “Master John” or “Mistress Jane”. She rarely speaks for herself, and then only in the third person, as “Master Smith’s loyal servant” or “This humble maid.” She never speaks unless it is required of her, either in response to being spoken to or as a result of her current task. The only orders she would never accept are orders that result in the breaking of an established law, even if the wearer would have originally had no problem breaking the law. Upon declining such an order, she uses overly apologetic and humble phrasing so as not to anger her “master” or “mistress.” She never makes eye contact with anyone, looking down at her feet and folding her hands in front of her as she is spoken to. She moves with delicacy and feminine grace, but also appears somewhat robotic due to a complete lack of emotional expression. She speaks in a single, soft tone that sounds natural but wavers little.
At no point can the wearer resist the costume’s mind-altering effects, even though she will be conscious of everything she is doing. This level locks the outward behavior into an autopilot of sorts, completely suppressing the conscious mind of the wearer. This level should only be used by those who desire to completely lose themselves to this alternate personality. Unprepared and resistant minds may experience mental trauma following the use of this costume at this level for prolonged periods of time.
CAUTION: Under the influence of this costume, it is possible the wearer will become unable to remove it of her own volition, especially when using the costume at higher levels. If such a circumstance arises, it is recommended that the wearer choose someone she trusts to monitor her at all times, and to step in and coax/order her to remove the costume if it becomes necessary.
NOTE: The primary and sole purpose of this costume is for the entertainment of the wearer and those around her. This costume cannot be forcibly placed upon an unwilling subject. While anyone can set the costume’s level, the costume will not activate if the wearer does not put on the dress portion of the costume entirely by herself. The costume is designed for ease of attachment. The wearer should not require any assistance when putting it on.

I've had this idea kicking around in my head for almost two years, but have never really come up with a story that seemed appropriate. Then a few weeks back,
YurikoKinai pointed me to this submission by Kaaji and I instantly knew how to present the concept for this costume without a bad story bogging it down.
What can I say about this series other than...yeah, I really enjoy going overboard with social stereotypes. They can be fun to explore and exaggerate. I loved the challenge the Lolita maid's dress presented.
Personally, I wouldn't go beyond levels 3 or 4. Level 5 seems somewhat terrifying. I made sure to pattern the instructions to keep the costume from being a trap instead of a toy.
This was a really fun sequence to work up, conceptually as well as visually. I hope to make more of these costumes in the future. Got a few other ideas already cooking, but I'd love to hear what other people would like to see.

*giggles* Wouldn't mind being tricked/dared into wearing it without knowing what it was... Don't think I'd want it to go all the way to 5, at least not for too long. *blush*

That's why the costume allows anybody to set its level or pick a level at random. Not knowing can be half the fun! Plus as long as you put it on yourself, you won't need to be told what the costume actually does.
Yeah, I'd prefer longer hair too. The idea was to make the hair as manageable as possible so the maid could be free to clean without it getting in the way or shedding long strands.
Optional accessories would ideally be available to anyone wanting hair of different styles or colors, different heights/skin tones, etc. These are simply the basic forms of the costume.

Hi! It is again me with another weird question... I would like to know if the costume's magic is powerfull enought to make the wearer do some impossible things... For example, if her master ask her to grow a tail and to turn into an anthro animal, would the costume will turn her into it?
No, the costume only alters the wearer as seen in these images. It's not designed for any other type of mental or physical TF. The maid has all the limitations of regular maids and can't do physically impossible tasks. Separate accessories like transformation collars or rings could be added to the costume for such purposes.

Maids have advantages over bimbos in that they can be "designed" to put out as much as a bimbo does, but they can retain their intelligence, and they are very handy around the house. If I asked a bimbo to fix my leaky faucet, she'd think I'd be referring to something else, and while her interpretation is more enjoyable, that's not going to do me much good in reducing the water bill.
