Seems like that Shining armor had also visited the place where Ember...or now Em-Bot had gone to get upgraded into a sentient robot! Like before and what is said on the screen! His original mind and consciousness are preserved thanks to the Benevolent Orange Eyebot above known as Eye-Quantum! Shining Armor has been upgraded into quite the handsome Stallion-Alicorn-Bot known as Shining Android! Now having those floating wings with hardlight feathers and highly advanced horn...and being now an Alicorn like his wife they would soon be quite equal together it would seem! Along with the general robotic upgrades like stronger skeleton, servos and strength, better stamina, tougher body, armored chassis and plating and many personal gadgets added or abilities upgraded for his new form. His significant changes would be his Parental Functions that are upgraded to optimal performance for taking care his daughter, Flurry Heart with many gadgets to boot like a milk bottle and a music player to play lullaby's and many utility options.

Another that is also very personal to him...would be Combat and Defensive Mechanisms as shown by his upgraded Shield capabilities, tougher alloy body and ability to monitor guard activity and communicate with other possible robotized guards, which correlates to his extreme improvements in Leadership skills along with much better communication and optics and mechanisms to deal with such threats like possible Rogue or Renegade Changelings or a giant Maulwurf. And of course, Weapons systems like the Hoof Cannon shown here and other possible built-in gadgets that possibly have the flexibility as XJ9. Who knows? But this is quite an essential upgrade since the Royal Guard really needs a competence improvement!

The Third one would be of course, Love. Which is sustained and its what powers his power core, his heart in that case which of course will be ironically heart shaped when he opens up his chassis in some cases for that. Along with him being 'shiny' with the new metal body...He is sure to have a much better time guardian Canterlot! Don't you think?
