Background: Zuma used to be a happy and rambunctious foal and beloved by all in his village and was learning to be a shaman. Then, while mixing some potions and not paying attention, an explosion destroyed his house, killing his parents. To the surprise to all he survive without a scratch. Feared and ridiculed he was cast out of his village. That night he cried for his parents asking for their forgiveness. Suddenly, their ghost appeared and said that it was an accident and they don’t blame him. It was then that his cutie mark appeared. He soon realized that he could summon the dead, both zombies and ghosts. Instead of going down the path of darkness, he used his new abilities but try and help others, though most would try to harm him when they learned of his nature. Years later he was found by Kronos and realizing that Zuma was an immortal, took him to the Shadow Lands. There, he made his first true friends, Vailen and Godfrey. The three have been inseparable for thousands of years. He became the Shadow Lord of Death and Resurrection and can commune with the all souls, aiding them to either the next life… though many decide to keep Zuma company.

Personality: Once a happy colt, the death of his parents and being banished from his village made him majorly depressed. If not for the ghosts of his parents and other friendly specters, dead and undead, he would have taken his own life. His mood changed slightly after becoming friends with Vailen and Godfrey he was still down. After meeting two mares that took an interest in him, first as friends then as lovers, his mood perked up even more. Even though he still doesn’t know what they see in him, he’s not complaining to much. He’s incredibly intelligent, able to quickly read any book and retain anything he’s learned or read.
