Sandar, the anthropomorphic earth pony who attends the friendship school with his friends of various races, has long heard stories of a very rare creature called a human. A being certainly similar to them, bipedal, feet and hands, but without fur, or without a tail, very intelligent and possibly having much more advanced technology. It was said that, in the castle of the princess friendship, Twilight Sparkle, there was a portal that leads to the human kingdom. Sandbar was quite interested in this being, and he believed that they were really real, not like others who considered them a mere myth to count on a bonfire night. He wanted to see if it was true that in the Castle of Friendship there was that portal that leads to the world of humans, so with a lot of patience, he waited until the end of classes, and with the departure of his friends to their respective homes, Sandbar decided it was moment of reckoning.
That day, Sandbar wore his moss green T-shirt with a turtle in the center, his cutie mark, and turquoise green pants. It was what he wore almost every day, it didn't get too complicated with what to wear daily. Of course, he was barefoot, he was rarely seen wearing any kind of footwear, Sandbar is a bare-footed guy. Although it is also because he has very large feet for a pony his age, something that prevents him from wearing shoes. Anyway, he's pretty used to going barefoot everywhere.
Once dressed, Sandbar left his house, saying goodbye to his parents and brothers. It was summer, so apart from no school, the day was a bit hotter. The pony could feel the heat of the sun, but paid no more attention to it and walked to the Castle of Friendship. On the way, Sandbar felt under his great soles the color of pale spring buds, pale grayish, like the earth seized his weight. Having fairly soft soles, they were sensitive and he could feel everything he stepped on, leaving behind his well-marked footprints. Coincidentally, Sandbar also stepped on puddles of water, cooling the pony's soles, a very pleasant sensation, as well as branches and grass that he crushed relatively easily, making his feet very dirty in the process. Since he doesn't wear shoes, his feet get quite dirty, something that the boy cares little or nothing about, which ends up creating a layer of dirt that covers the entire sole of his feet.
As Sandbar continues walking, he unknowingly initially crushes a few ants that were passing by. Sandbar managed to feel them, he stopped, and surprised, he raised his foot to see what he stepped on, seeing the ants crushed and well attached to his great sole.
"Oh wow, I stepped on some ants" Sandbar exclaimed.
"Well, it doesn't matter." He said to himself, rather nonchalant, even shrugging his shoulders.
The pony planted its foot on the ground again and continued walking until it reached the Castle of Friendship. Sandbar stopped in front of the great golden door, and he knocked on the door, to see if there was anyone. No one came to serve him, but the pony would knock on the door a second time. There was no answer. Sandbar decided to slowly open the door, sticking his head inside.
"Uh, hello? Is anyone there? Princess? Spike?" Sandbar received no response.
He decided to fully enter the castle, thinking that there is no one. In a way, better for him. Possibly Princess Twilight has gone on one of her harmony missions.
Sandbar closed the door and entered the castle, walking on a red carpet that covered the floor of the corridors. The truth is that with each step he took, he left a bit of dirt from his feet on the carpet, but he did not realize this. The pony walked throughout the castle in search of that happy portal that some speculate its existence. Until finally, the boy came to a room with many bookcases and lots of furniture. But that was not the interesting thing here.
In this giant room, Sandbar was able to contemplate with amazement and intrigue a standing mirror with an edge in the shape of an elongated and highly ornate horseshoe, surrounded by a large number of machines and contraptions somewhat strange for the earth pony. Sandbar approached said mirror and saw it up close.
"Could it be that this mirror here and all this... is the portal to the human world?" he questioned himself.
There was only one way to know such a thing. For this reason, and with great courage, Sandbar approached the mirror, and then the pony would carefully put his right hand through said mirror, thinking that it would go through it. He was not mistaken about it, when he made contact the mirror lit up and his hand went through it. Sandbar was surprised by this. He moved the fingers of his hand, and apparently, he didn't feel anything new, so he took it out of there. He saw his hand and there was nothing wrong. So, he did the same, but this time using his right foot, putting it into the mirror, knowing now that it is the portal he was looking for. He could feel his foot landing on the ground, whatever was on the other side felt soft, unusually very soft. Sandbar took his foot out and then looked at the sole of it, seeing that it now had a strange texture of dirt, much finer and smaller.
"But what is this?" he wondered to himself, very surprised.
Sandbar decided that it was time to take a look at what was on the other side, and if it was possible, and above all true, to find the humans, if there were. With great courage and sighing deeply, he closed his eyes, the pony went through the portal.
Meanwhile...
On planet earth, humans lived their daily lives, many of them unremarkable and interesting, life itself continued its course as normal, until that day.
In the sky, a ring of purple light with different shades appeared, something that left the humans speechless who stared at it. What followed was total madness, because from there came first a hand of an unimaginable size, moving in different ways. After that, a huge foot came out accompanied by a leg with pants, said foot crashed into the ground, causing a great earthquake that shook with force. The foot in question, crushed a city that was under it, ending the existence of all its inhabitants in just under a second. The toes wiggled and soon it was up to return to the ring of light in the sky. Finally, the being that belonged to both the hand and the foot that appeared shortly before came out. The humans remained expressionless when they saw the creature that came out of said ring, it was a humanoid being of colossal size, half hundreds of kilometers high. He was wearing a T-shirt and pants in greenish tones. It was almost human, but it had a head that was a combination between an equine and a human head, slightly long and tousled hair, with equine-like ears, as well as a nose, adding its tail. The earthquakes that followed when the giant planted its feet on the earth's surface were the strongest that humans would feel in their entire existence. The giant looked at the strange landscape.
Sandbar had come to a place that, from his point of view, seemed too strange. Everything was flat, very flat. The terrain was somewhat varied in colors, from green to small gray dots connected with black lines that varied in thickness. There were other blue lines that also varied in size, and he could see small white formations floating everywhere. Overall, this place, was pretty weird for Sandbar.
"Hey, where the hell am I? What is this place?" the pony wondered to himself once more.
Coincidentally, Sandbar lifted his left foot off the ground to take a small step forward, putting it back on the ground without further ado, not knowing the consequences this has for beings that are invisible to him.
"Could it be that the humans are here? In that case, where are they?" he wondered strangely. "Well, I guess I'll find out myself."
Sandbar began to walk towards a direction whose destination is completely uncertain, in search of humans, if this is the place where these mythological creatures reside for their world. As he walks, he can feel how the ground in this place is much softer than that of Ponyville, it was like stepping on sand, gravel or muddy earth after a rainy day, but it was the softest he had stepped on in his life. . They give it a warm touch that Sandbar certainly enjoyed.
"This place will be weird, but it's very nice to step on this floor" commented the pony.
Humans and basically all life on earth got caught up in the apocalyptic walk of a giant pony boy who is apparently looking for something in his world. When he began to walk, panic broke out in the large cities and small towns in the region and people began to evacuate the entire area to escape the giant's footsteps, without much success. They were easily reached by its feet when they fell to the ground, millions were those who suffered this fate without any distinction, men, women and children, all, without exception, including animals, were crushed by the huge feet of the giant pony . The little that was left of these people was a huge footprint several kilometers deep.
The feet of the giant were so big that they could step on and make an entire city and its surroundings disappear, also crush mountains until leaving them very flat, overflow entire rivers or lakes, wipe out meadows or forests with a lot of wildlife as if they were only grass.
Each step of the giant was catastrophic, they caused earthquakes so strong that not even the tectonic plates themselves could replicate them, in turn creating shock waves as if they were atomic bombs, taking away what would be around the foot when stepping on the ground, as well as a deafening roar of a large explosion. a cloud of dust and dirt would rise after each step
Returning with Sandbar, he kept walking without stopping, not only for his search for humans, if they were here, but also for feeling with each step how the soft earth of this world sank under his weight with great ease.
"Where will the humans be?"
Sandbar continued on his way, until, when by chance he decided to look down, he saw that on his left leg, there was a tiny flash of white. The pony stopped when it saw this, and contemplated how after that flash, a kind of white fungus formed, which, simply by moving its leg, disappeared.
"What was that? This place is getting weirder."
After saying that, another flash occurred on the same leg, and then another on the right. Sandbar could then see where they came from, and they were from the same ground, but a short distance from him, in a black dot set apart from the rest. The boy decided to approach it slowly to see what it was about. Then, upon reaching the origin of this strange phenomenon, he crouched down, to be able to see better, although the difference was not much.
Shortly after the giant began his walk, the country's government decided to take immediate measures for this chaotic situation that had never been experienced before. Apart from evacuating civilians from the most densely populated areas, it was decided to attack the giant by launching nuclear and atomic missiles at it to see if they could do something to it and stop it in some way. However, when the first missile was launched from a military base and hit the giant's leg, absolutely nothing happened to him, not a scratch, not even a tickle, not even his clothes show any damage.
The bad thing for the operators of said base was that all they did was attract the attention of the giant pony to them, being able to feel the tremors of their steps, and how they became stronger. Many were frightened by this and lost their cool, but others carried on with their work. They saw that the giant crouched down to see them better, apparently he was curious. At first they decided not to launch any more bombs for fear of reprisals, but apparently a few leaders of the base did not resist the temptation to launch a bomb at the giant, this time, in the direction of his enormous right eye, hoping that this time there would be someone. damage.
That decision condemned them all.
Sandbar, unexpectedly, received something in his right eye that caused him a lot of discomfort.
"Aaah, damn my eye!" The pony yelled annoyed, scratching his eye with his hands.
Sandbar was not happy at all, and after that, he rose to his full height in an imposing pose. Next, it raised its huge foot from the ground, from which hundreds of crushed debris fell from its great sole, and with a frown, it stomped on the gray dot with great force, and then moved its foot from left to right, pulverizing completely what was throwing those strange "mushrooms". Then he lifted his foot and saw the footprint he left. There is practically nothing left, it was completely shattered.
"Stupid thing, at least it was easy to get rid of whatever that was"
After that, Sandbar continued his walk.
The government, upon seeing that, decided that it was better not to continue attacking with its nuclear weapon, but to continue with the evacuations in large populations.
The problem was that the panic was widespread and there was a lot of hysteria in the population, not only nationally, but also in neighboring countries, who feared that the giant would reach their territories. All this meant that the evacuations were disorganized and that there were not many advances. All this meant that, when a city was in the path of the giant, the number of victims was very numerous. Add to that the fact that many highways and roads have been crushed by the giant, thus making it difficult for land communications and for people to go from one place to another.
Without knowing it, the giant pony was changing the geography of this new world.
Sandbar was heading towards what appeared to be a large body of water in front of him. He kept walking without paying much attention to what he was stepping on with his feet, which at this point were already beginning to release a rather strong odor, not to mention that a lot of sweat was coming out of the soles. It wasn't very important to him.
"Could this be a lake? It looks weird, in a way" commented the giant pony.
He slowed down his walk until he reached the body of water. He stared at something strange and curious. then Sandbar stepped on the water, and he could feel the humidity of it, certainly something pleasant. Although he also notice that, on earth, the water flooded a few black dots that were next to the water.
"How strange... anyway, maybe it wouldn't hurt to walk on the water, apparently it's not very deep."
Sandbar was not wrong at all in what he said, because when he began to walk on the water, he saw that it was almost not deep at all, what's more, his feet still protruded from the water, only wetting the soles. He could see that there were small green dots in the water, he didn't know what they were, but he didn't pay much attention to them and he stepped on them anyway. No traces of those green dots were left, they completely disappeared behind their giant footsteps.
When the giant pony began to walk through the ocean, it was simply catastrophic for human beings and life on earth in general.
His footsteps caused the largest tsnamis that have ever existed and will ever exist in the entire history of humanity and the earth, destroying the coasts of the entire world. Not only that, the giant destroyed rich ecosystems and extinguished a lot of marine life with its steps, which also ended the existence of several islands scattered throughout the ocean, leaving nothing of these islands, nor their people. These steps also crushed many boats that were unfortunate enough to be in the path of the giant.
The coasts only worsened when the giant pony reached the other continent, a new country.
Sandbar reached the other end of the "lake" stepping on the ground again. his feet were wet with a lot of water, at least that made the bad smell and sweat disappear, for now. Because of this, his footsteps were more similar to stepping on the mud of a swamp, muddying the ground with his sodden feet. It was quite a nice feeling for Sandbar. However, at this point, the pony was getting tired, he couldn't find anything interesting, he kept seeing the same landscape since he arrived a few minutes ago, and he couldn't find the humans, he began to think that they are a mere legend after all. After walking a bit more, I come to another large body of water. There, Sandbar decided to take a break. The pony took a seat on the ground, unaware of the consequences it brought to those below, crossing its feet and exposing its huge dirty soles. I sigh, and look at the landscape. then, he took his right foot with his hands and saw how really dirty it was, the sole was completely black, from the heel to the toes. They had never gotten dirty like that before, and Sandbar never wears shoes of any kind. He wiggled his toes casually, fingers of which are quite chubby. Sandbar released his foot.
While sitting, the pony would begin to pay more attention to its surroundings and analyze it more deeply. He saw the strange little white formations floating everywhere. Looking at them well, they seemed so familiar, they looked like the clouds of Equestria. That seemed so weird. In fact, seeing the surroundings, it reminded him of the landscape that could be seen while in the city of Cloudsdale, in the few times he was there. In a way, it was very similar. It was at that moment that, analyzing all that, Sandbar thought something very crazy.
"Wait a minute, could it be, this is a world... a world in miniature?"
It might have sounded crazy, but with everything put together, it made sense. Sandbar saw a small gray spot on the ground, close to others that are next to the water, connected by very thin black lines. Sandbar decided to analyze it further, bringing his face as close as possible to said stain, which could also easily be moss, but a very rare one. The pony began to distinguish, with difficulty, what are black lines that cross each other, similar to streets and paths. As if it were a city.
"Could it be that this moss, and the others, are actually... cities?... wow"
With that conclusion, Sandbar was not very impressed, he was more
indifferent than anything else, as if it were not a great discovery for him.
Sandbar rose from the ground to his full height, and now knowing with certainty that this gray spot and the others are actually cities, he lifted his foot off the ground, again with a very strong smell and a lot of sweat, raising it over the small gray spot.
"So, if my conclusions are true, down there... humans live."
The humans of the big city cringed in fear and terror as the giant stared at them for a while with its huge green eyes, only to then for something much worse, the giant pony lifted its foot off the ground and raised it up. about your city. People began to scream and run everywhere in terror, the evacuation was being a disaster. A few drops of sweat fell from the giant's foot, flooding a few city streets and drowning several people, wreaking havoc in the process. Whole families were burning with fear, the authorities could not handle the situation, and all of this would culminate when the giant dropped his foot.
In a second, all the chaos and fear of the moment were silenced. everything went black.
Sandbar decided to lazily drop his foot on the small town, completely crushing it, as well as other towns in and around it. Sandbar didn't feel anything when he crushed her, he didn't feel pleasure or remorse for killing so many humans. he was indifferent to everything he has done. He raised his foot after crushing the city, revealing the footprint that he left on the ground, being able to see the remains of the city, the streets, and little else, not to mention the small lakes of sweat, the crushed rivers that began to flood the footprint. the rest stuck to the sole of its gigantic foot, though some debris, chunks of dirt, and crushed humans peeled off and fell, something unnoticed by the massive pony.
"So, all this time I've been walking around in the world of these humans without knowing it? It seems that in the end, these humans, or whatever they are, are just bugs, or less than that."
Sandbar became thoughtful for a moment, but that state vanished. He kept looking at the footprint he left, but quickly decided to leave and return home. The human world has very little to offer. Sandbar would walk again and crush everything in his path, killing many people under his big feet without him caring in the slightest, so much so that he didn't even dare to look down and let his feet do the dirty work. , flattening all the terrain and changing the geography with a few simple steps. At this point, the pony saw them as insignificant life forms, there was no point in wasting time trying not to step on them. Stepping on their cities was like stepping on anthills. After a while, and having crushed more than half of the human population, Sandbar returned to the portal that brought him to said world, a little disappointed in what he saw. He crossed the ring of light, and disappeared without further ado.
Back in Equestria, Sandbar left the Castle of Friendship and went to the nearest river to clean his feet. The pony was more thoughtful of cleaning his big feet than all the carnage he caused just a moment ago. That's how indifferent he was with beings much smaller than him.
Sandbar reached a fairly calm river in a very secluded place. there the pony sat down, to later look at the soles of his feet, just dirty and with a lot of sweat. Even the pony took his right foot and curiously brought it closer to his face and sniffed it a bit, realizing that they really did smell quite bad, even more so than the stallion locker room.
He wasted no more time, the pony drank some water with his hands and began to clean his feet, removing the dirt stuck to the soles. Without knowing it, and in any case, without caring, it killed the few survivors that were between the toes of his and the wrinkles of his feet. After finishing cleaning his foot, he did the same with his left foot, until he left it impeccable. Sandbar rarely bothered to clean the soles of his feet, but this was an exception. After that, he got up and just went about his daily life.
After that experience, every time he heard the word human, the only thing that came to mind for Sandbar was a being of microscopic and insignificant dimensions, easy to crush.
