The spirits dance below the trees,
quivering lanterns in the moonlight.
The piper whistles, the flutist whispering.
The two take turns upon the melody,
the spirits' waltz unending.
The fox takes a stand,
the panpipes chanting on an African wind.
The sound rustles in the falling leaves,
silenced as his eyes open to a wild dream.
The vixen takes a stand,
the recorder echoing in a haunted hall.
The reed's wind chills the medieval night,
dying as her eyes open to a somber dream.
The spirits twirl around the two,
a glowing carriage as they walk the wind.
They fly into the waiting sky,
a shimmering star shooting from the forest.
The foxes joyously play their sonata,
joining the spirits in their floating waltz.

I am not a music expert, and this is normally not my type of music. But I have to say that I really like your work. It is very melodic and a true harmony between vocals and sound. The only thing that I am not quite happy with, is that the vocals, near the end of the song reach such a high pitch that the harmony is for a moment interrupted. I found this a pity, but it could as well have been your intention, i am not quiete sure about this.
Apart from that, absolutly lovely! Keep up the great work! I find it refreshing to see that other furs engage in music as an art form! =)

Wow. A very beautiful rendition of an already lovely song. The vocals done by 
lilypad were very fitting and added a nice blend and balance to everything else. The recorder sounded very nice as well!
Small question, did you redo his from scratch or did you use your previous version and add to it/change a few things?

This song was utterly powerful, to say the least, and at the same time exhilarating when listened to while viewing the artwork made for it.
How can music this great be contained in a submission on FA? I would certainly buy music composed by you in a heartbeat!
I realize how many comments and compliments you must get daily, but know that your music has touched one more soul out there and I'm glad for it.

That was hauntingly beautiful.
I don't often check out a lot of music submissions on FA, as I'm sure is common with most visitors to this site, simply because you can't just glance at them and get an immediate impression of whether you'll like it or not. Music tends to require a bit more of a time investment... And let's be honest, most of the "music" submissions on the site tend to be a little... Underwhelming.
If more of them were like this, I would most assuredly listen to every single one.

I used to play piano, but... meh. Though I was good at it, I don't think actually composing music is my thing.
Ziel's piano fingers may be the right length, and she may actually be able to hear her mistakes, but these hands are made more for drawing. BU

Well, this is definitely a lot...grander than the original. Much more...cinematic, busier and bolder...and plenty of talent in this version as well!
...But I must say I prefer the original Waltz of the Spirits myself. Perhaps it was the fact that it was simpler...but it just...flowed through me better. I am not sure how to explain it.
