A river of soul washes me pure
releasing the bonds as my body shivers
I am free
Because rain can be a great healer. A collab with

It's not even over yet while I start typing this.
The sound is just so beautiful. You can feel sadness in it and also an extreme calming sensation.
Just... wow. I tend to avoid a lot of music posters on FA because of the generic synthetic "techno" rehashes.
This is absolutely beautiful though.
I had a tear in my eye just from the sound when it ended.
It fits so beautifully to the picture.
I have to listen to more of your music.

Thank you for the kind comment ^^ You should check out the
furrymusicians page sometime, you can find some good musicians around there.

It was so inspiring and so much fun to work together with you again. <3
This music piece reveals more about the character's personality whilst conserving her typical youthful, practical and sloppy look and you were again able to touch deeper into it and create a wonderful theme that surrounds and depicts the imagery.

and thats how instruments should be composed together. Every single one of them you can hear clearly yet they combine to make this atmospheric, natural sound. Each one expressing a part of nature. the piano for the rain and flowing water, the stings for the wind blowing to and from as if breathing and the harp for the wind whipping up leaves. The little bell for droplets falling from leaves down on to others. at the end everything fades out as if the rain has stopped, the wind dies and the sun breaks through making the little droplets on everything sparkle like diamonds.
I was so happy when I found this.
I was on the brink of coming to a conclusion that furries only listened to drum and bass, and dried up techno. But I think this is something quite special.
Can I show you a band? Your song reminded me a lot of them, and they are simply incredible:

Again, well done. It's nice to see that SOME talent shines through. :)

making notes as i listen
looking at the picture you can almost feel like you can relate to the character as you go along you begin to notice the green of the plant growing up from the depth of the soil
while listening i can picture the character waiting alone with nothing but the comfort of the harsh rain beating upon them only real sign of life and hope is the new sprout emerging from the ground
gotta say this music/ image combo is... very moving
thank you very much for your sharing of both and i want to congratulate you two because i dont think i've ever cried from just a single image and a melody
but that you two have indeed accomplished
this is beautiful thank you both again for sharing

Before hearing this I was all stressed out, but after the first note and first drop of rain it all melted away.
Thank-you.

Mmf...can't say I agree with the Picardy Third at the end there, but otherwise well done. Reminded me a lot of Thomas Newman's work (specifically for "The Shawshank Redemption") at the very beginning, then I felt a lot of Jeremy Soule influence throughout the rest of the piece.
Ooh, this is the gentle meter of a light rain, captured on piano. Here's one listener that finds your work more and more touching! Rain is my favorite weather and I can tell this piece accentuates much of it's qualities. It's a somber melody that reflects what I know the rain as: not sad, but somber; not dark, but clear; not harsh; but healing, not desolate, but free!
I've been really down lately, and since I first listened to this, I've come back time and again. The sad lilting melody brings a sense of . . . Understanding? Of kinship with the music, and through the music, the composer. And. . . At the same time, it's so powerfully uplifting, like though it may hurt right now, everything is going to be okay. So I just sit here and listen, and let the music, like rain, wash me clean. Thank you.
I can't get enough of this track! I usually don't follow furry music, but your stuff's hitting my interest head-on. I can feel your desire to hit emotions with each track, every square second of it seems to hit some kinda nerve in me, and I love it. I'd tell you to never stop producing music, if I didn't get the feeling you weren't going to be considering it anytime soon. ;D
Also, muchlove for another
scottishfur. :D

I feel the same about rain being a form of healing and release. The same can be said for art and music, and the beautiful collab between you two with the art piece and this wonderful work of music along with the sound of rain seem to all be renewing in their emotion. I absolutely love this, it is so well done and intense, soft but powerful.
