Due to a series of unpredicted events, Moxie was surprised to wake up one day with his consciousness uploaded into a highly advanced rubbery diaper. His original body is nowhere to be found, so the procedure cannot be reversed.
Harry was similarly surprised to wake up wearing Moxie. No matter how much he tried, his boyfriend-turned-diaper wouldn't budge an inch, being locked on with no obvious method of removal. Thankfully the padding has self-cleaning functionality.
After some work, Harry was able to make a pair of floating cyber hands for Moxie to use, giving him the ability to interact with the world around him, but no progress could be made on changing Moxie back or unlocking him from Harry. Despite their new circumstances, life had to return to some kind of normalcy. They've gotten used to the new arrangement, and have resumed normal activities like playing games.
