I seem to have forgotten to submit this here. FA might have been buggy at the time. I'm trying to get a list of all the bio pages together for this site.
More of the secondary characters from the Zodiac comic. Bi-Polar hasn't ever had any dialogue but enough people noticed her that she's almost kind of popular so I had to do a write up for her.
What is up with the stat block? It's from the RPG game Mutants & Masterminds which is a pretty cool game. I have not put in all the details such as point costs and those that play the game will recognize that Bi-Polar is not balanced in a lot of ways which I kind of like.
Got questions about the stats? I'll try and answer them and if you like this format, I'll do some additional characters this way.
Bi-Polar first appeared in the main Zodiac comic and later got her ass kicked by Slither in a commission. She's probably due for something positive to happen to her.

I like actually seeing a female polar bear, and one of this build at that. I like her power and backstory, and the punny name does work. The fact that she actually tried out to be in the Zodiac team should be a sign that maybe she is trying to work with others, shame she got given the shaft because of that asshole Gemini. Bi-Polar seems like a very interesting character and I hope she may sometime gets to appear in a story more properly. I like her.
Finally a little more background about a Character I was curious about.
About RPG and balancing. Yes, RPG's should balance the characters, but there are (in my opinion) exceptions.
Science Fiction: What use are balanced characters, if every commander of a spaceship from a certain point on has the firepower to devastate a planet.
Superheroes: Well, I remember a few comics were balancing would not work in a RPG with the same characters. For example I remember a fight, were several (Marvel) heroes did not do well against Ultron. In the end it was the Wasp, using a dent made by the Hulk (who was out of the fight afterwards) went inside him and began to yank cables, using her wasp sting untill something broke.
Going by stats, she would not have any chance at all and while the Hulk made the dent, he had a broken leg afterwards.
If you want a character balancing, take a look at this: http://fyuvix.deviantart.com/art/Ch.....Meme-154832353

Interesting way of going about giving your characters biosheets. And yes, at times it's hard to convert a story character into a game character. PROPER story characters are sometimes balanced in ways that are hard to translate into mechanical attributes. Plus, at least with M&M 3, what if you want to do something off the wall like Generator Rex's builds or use a less common power like plant control? Though that's probably because I still need to read up on the system.
Also, with regards to Dreamfox's post:
Science Fiction: First of all any GM who allows his party access to planet destroyers on a whim is either a noob or a complete idiot, world wreckers are a plot device that should be the heart of the story itself, like in Wing Commander 3. Second, only in the Warhammer 40k RPGs does "every commander of a spaceship from a certain point on" have the firepower to do serious damage to a planet's surface and that's because they're stupidly huge beyond any sense of practicality. In the other big Sci-Fi RPGs I've read like Traveller and the Starwars RPG, civilian ships have enough firepower to blow up a tank from orbit at most and most military vessels max out at city destroying weapons. Battleships could scorch a planet's surface but they're expensive, require a lot of guys to operate, easy to spot, and often slow and vulnerable to bombers.
Plus, scorched earth tactics have the slight side effect of denying the use of the planet to everyone, including yourself. Something the players should think about if whatever they're blowing up is also their only chance at resupply for awhile...
Superheroes: What system would this not work in? From what I know of Mutants and Masterminds at least there is nothing there that can't be justified with spending Hero Points and allowing the players some leeway in working together creatively.
Sorry but people who make exceptions to balancing are just making excuses to powergame in my mind. And I hate powergamers...
