It might, but given how common it is for women to wear improperly fitted bras, I can only imagine why given that information on bra fitting is so readily available. My two theories are ignorance and apathy. I have a hard time justifying either, but then again people have different priorities. Great or even good bras are expensive. But surely even walmart cheap bras can be fitted properly with patience.
I almost feel like writing an article on DA and call it "Why do my breasts hurt, and what are these bruises on my shoulders?"

2 years late to the party... but there are bras... push-up bras... that are intended to give the illusion of fuller breasts that "bulge" over the fabric. And for me... Walmart bras are not even an option. My walmart only carries bras up to the cup size C and rarely carries a D... let alone a DD or a DDD. : / Sooooo expensive bras here I go! So I often wear ill fitting bras because I can't afford to purchase new ones. >; A ;<
I sold bras to women for a time (desperate times call for any job I could find). I learned the proper fit, techniques, and look for bra fitting. As a guy, I was surprised that so much work goes into such things, but like shoes, bras must fit or your body hurts. Bras should not pinch, the bands should not dig into the shoulders and back, and most of all the cups must contain and "cup" ALL the breast without spill over. Sideboob and spill over the top are caused by improper fit and poor band support. Also, since usually one breast is larger than the other, thin padding/liner is often required to prevent the lopsided look. Remember the point of the bra is to help manage the weight of the breasts. Otherwise back pain will result. That so many artists fail to understand this fact, is sad. I find it not at all surprising that so many female artists fail to understand this aspect of anatomy and bra fit because every day for months I had to correct severe misunderstandings women had regarding bra fit and selection. I'd go on, but I've made my point. Push up bras and corsets are on their own with tech, but only work on certain body types and cup sizes. I would never recommend them for the average woman. Again, proper fit is necessary to prevent damage to the body. If you need lift, then wire frame would be a better choice and you have to make sure the wire bands don't dig into the soft tissue under and around the chest. I guess I just find the cheap crap 'tweenager' look to be a huge disservice to women in general, and results in misunderstanding long after the body is no longer able to support such torture.
Yeah I agree. I know a lot of my back problems is first from having the size I have and second from the lack of proper cup size. I think if I showed my bras to a bra fanatic I'd make them cry so much. XD I really only have 1 bra that fits me since I had some extra cash on me to get one last year. Otherwise all my other bras are from years and years ago... my teenage years. I have more important things to spend money on such as food and basic health care needs. But I know there are a lot of people out there who don't know how to do a proper fitting... although there are videos and guides all over the place on how to properly do it.
uhhhh-ha-ha... Yes please!
