About that 3D commission plan I mentioned
13 years ago
I'm calling it off.
I had a slight pang of doubt when I announced it a while back, but now I'm convinced that my 3D modelling skills as they are now might probably be a huge insult to any client I pick up. I'll think about it again when my models actually look professional-grade, which it seriously isn't.
Why do I say this? You'll see when I'm done with this same 1000-tri model that I've been trying to finish for TWO GODDAMN FUCKING YEARS. Put that in professional perspective, and I would've been fired from 10, no, 100 game development companies when it should take a mere 3-8 hours nonstop at its fastest

No shame in withdrawing to polish your skills. Maybe you should look into alternative methods, or hooking up with a DIY forum to learn more?

I'm doing the latter right now, but for the obvious 2D alternative everybody and their mums are doing, I have doubts that will fly either since I can mostly do monochrome sketches with no backgrounds.
