7 colors of conflict

I got an idea during the chat on almond's stream.
One person said that facial expressions are everything on the pose. I disagree, think that gestures, posture, tail and ears do as well, too.
So I thought of the following exercise/challenge:
Pick a character, same for all poses. Try drawing the following emotions with the face just blank. You can just draw stick figures, but the only details on the head allowed are ears an maybe the basic outline of the snout. if you want to draw detailed pics, you may cover the face with a mask there, but no cheating on that. Also, nothing else, no props, nothing.
(I know, there are way more emotions, but I picked these just because of my whim)
Draw them on the 7 rainbow-colored (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) petals of a flower, choosing whatever emotion you want to place on which.
* Accepting some task you know needs doing when you wish only to relax.
* Being too damn hungry but have to listen and blabber before you can get to food at some celebration.
* Absolutely "kill-on-the-spot" enraged but have to keep calm
* Holding a hand of a friend you really lust for, but know they would be offended if they knew.
* Giving someone a gift that you absolutely don't want to part with.
* Having only the winner singled out in some major competition where you were second by just a hair breadth.
* Meeting a couple, one of which you love with all your heart, so care more for their happiness than your own.
* Center of the flower -- choose yourself, both emotion and color.
If you link your ones here, I'll pick a winner at end of September and offer a prize.
Bonus points to those who can tell what it refers to (there are three things it's based on, not just one or two).

This I agree with. Facial expressions are important however the body is a symphony orchestra of communicating emotion. Harnessing that fact to full advantage is key to bringing a character alive. I point to fursuiters as a prime example. Other than some suits having articulated jaws, the face is pretty much permanently frozen in what ever expression the fursuit maker formed the face in. However a good fursuiter is still able to communicate a wide range of emotions through body language and do so very well.
But the theater styles coming from ancient times (well, the only really surviving seems to be kabuki) which employ masks and rely on body language show that as well...
I drew the ones I wanted to do, not the specificated in the journal... but I think it counts too to improve xD.
