I'd really like to meet you all, and see what kind of fish you're keeping!
If you would, comment with your aquarium sizes and stock lists
For an example, here's a list for my aquariums:
80 gallon
1 Peppered Oscar
1 Green Severum
3 Raphael Catfish
1 Bristlenose Pleco
50 gallon
8 Melanochromis cyanorhabdos
3 Yellow labs
1 Pseudotropheus crabro
This could give me an idea of who's joining in on things, as well as give me an idea of the fish you like to keep.
If any of you have any pictures of your fish or aquariums you'd like to be posted in this group, please let me know, I'd love to expand our gallery!

Also planning a saltwater nano soon with (hopefully) a Randall's goby with pistol shrimp and a few crabs. :3
5 neon tetras
1 albino cory cat
1 long fin cherry barb
2 female mollies
3 otos
10 gallon:
2 male guppies
2 male balloon mollies
1 pleco
A bit crowded due to "adopting" some unwanted fishies
5 Danios
I just recently got the danios, after my dear, precious goldfish (that I've had for a year and brought them with me two and from my dorm numerous times) because of goldfish fungus given to them by a PetCo feeder fish that my friend was keeping in my tank temporarily. *sigh.* Anyways, I'm really new to fishkeeping, but they are awesome and keep me company. :3
1 male betta
It's not impressive at all, but I'm new to keeping fish and don't want to overdo it. Besides, I love my little Izanagi and want him to live a long, healthy, happy life. I would appreciate any tips anyone has to offer! :D
I usually recommend a 20 gallon tank for any beginners, it's a nice size without having to blow too much money on it, and gives you a pretty generous range (though still limited) in terms of what you can keep in your aquarium. Second hand is always going to be a lot cheaper, since aquariums are like cars, they're freaking expensive new, but the price drops extensively once it's been used a while.
IMO always go for as big as you can afford/can fit. It only becomes a larger project when you start going beyond the 200 gallon zone.
HTH, Onidrase
Though now I need to figure out a suitable background for the tank. He keeps finding his reflection and flaring up at it, charging at it. Silly at first, but I worry it may stress him out if he does it all day while I'm at work.

I used to have 3 bettas, a blue, a red and blue/red, but the blue one, Neige, died since it been about 2-3 years I had him :( my first real pet in my first appartement, buh buh!
But now, what I have left is:
The red one, named Fluke (he's supposed to be Thewhiterook one, but she couldn't bring him when we broke, so, kept him <3), in the red flame betta kit. He's a normal betta!
And blue/red one, named Renoir! In the yin-yang betta kit. He's a beautiful crown-tail (beautiful when he dares to open up! So godly *^* )
I think it pretty small for them, but I don't have anything else.. Neige used to have a BIG fish bowl, so he was also big and strong~ so I'll re-use this one whenever I get a new betta. And I wish to have a bigger tank, wich I'm maybe planning one day, but it seems like trouble to clean and such, so, I'm quite hesitating (I'm clearly admiting that I know I don't wash their tank enough...)
cleaning bigger tanks isn't too rough, if you have a filter running, you just change about 20% of them give or take every week and that's it, usually with a bucket or a cup (or in my case, a big hose that hooks up to the sink)
don't worry about removing the fish or anything when cleaning them. It's not too rough, really. I honestly find bigger tanks a lot easier to clean than smaller ones. Every time I get a little tank, I end up selling it.
125 gallon with one 12 inch common pleco. :3c
I do plan on increasing the stock, but there are so many good options out there it's too hard to pick.
I'd recommend some cichlids, but I'm a cichlid nut so that's to be expected.
look forward to seeing what you stock up on, though
