Tumblr and the posting of my work.
Hi,
Upon attempting a routine Google Images check, I have been seeing a handful of my works posted to Tumblr. Back some time ago I decided to broaden the purpose of the blog to include more story-related content since there is more to the overall story than just two characters. I use the blog as a repository for things like concept sketches and text, or other details that I don't see the point of posting here. If I do post something to Tumblr that has a source on FA, I include the source.
What is the point of all this? Well, I would just like to ask that if someone is able to find my work on Tumblr, that instead of posting the work to their own blog, that they reblog from my account. Here is a crosspost from my blog regarding why:
I ask that you please reblog work from my account here when applicable. It is a little disheartening to see that I get perhaps 1-5 notes on a post while someone else posting my work gets over 100 notes. While I am very thankful that many of you doing so have credited me and my FA account, I hope it would not be too much to ask that, if a piece is posted here, that you reblog it so that I may get traffic to this account as well. I source all of my images to FA and so on. I have not wanted to say anything until now because it seemed…mean? But the more I consider it, the more sensible it appears.
Thank you to those who have enjoyed my work and will hopefully continue to do so. I am happy to be able to put together works that you find interesting enough to follow and post for yourself, but please, can you reblog works from here instead? If something is not posted here, but only to FA or dA, then you may certainly post work from those pages with credit given and a link back to the source. I hope this does not impose too much; that is not my intention.
I don’t mind my work being shared, but I do have preferences on the method of sharing.
I was asked to submit this as a journal here. The Tumblr account I use is here: http://ai-qa.tumblr.com
That is all. Thanks for reading.

welcome to tumblr. where they steal content and get credit for it
It isn't that I'm not credited. I have been credited. I simply would like that those posting my work reblog from my own Tumblr instead of posting it themselves. I don't have much of a following on my Tumblr and the people who have been posting my work are people who do, in fact, follow my account, so I know that they have seen my work on said account. While my account was intended to be a repository for story-related works, it would be nice if people looked at my account instead of someone else's. That is all.
