Terms Of Service:
1. I, the artist, reserve the right to cancel a commission at anytime before payment.
2. If you speak a different dialect and I am unable to understand you in a clear way, I will politely decline the commission request.
3. Payment is due up front and in ONE payment. Installments, advance payments, or late payments will NOT be accepted. Please make sure to have funds ready when slot is reached. If funding is not ready, your slot will be paused and I will move on to the next.
4. Turnaround time: I work a regular 9-5 job in addition to my commission work, so I do have to work around those set hours. Please be patient if you do not get an immediate response to any notes. I will get to your commission as time permits, and do my utmost to deliver in a timely fashion, but best case scenario it may take more than two weeks to complete. There may, of course, be exceptions to this.
5. I will NOT draw hardcore/extreme NSFW, or any hardcore/extreme fetishes, violence or “non-con” scenarios. Please don't even try to ask. “Pin-ups” are negotiable. See my f-list for all that I will or won’t draw (please do NOT ask me to make exceptions for things in my “No” column - there’s a reason those are there).
6. I reserve the right to add any fees for overly detailed characters or commissions, I’m not perfect and I know this, but I do have a hard time with hard characters. Additional fees will be incurred for any creative changes not originally specified at time of commission (i.e. details/poses/characters/situations not originally discussed at the time of commission request). I alone determine the amount of these fees.
7. If the commissioner fails to keep in contact, I reserve the right to wait 48 hours, if by the end of that time I still have not heard from you, I will pause the commission and move on to the next in line. If you have not replied within 3 days’ time, I will cancel your commission. Any payments given will be refunded by half the original amount.
8. If a private commission is requested, it CANNOT be uploaded online. NO EXCEPTIONS! If I find the private piece uploaded, I will bar you from future commissions and make attempts to have the piece removed. Please respect me and my work.
9. I offer commissions in Digital mediums only. What you get when you commission me: Hi-res image of original artwork (prices on Commission Info page reflects this).
10. A note on stylistic approach/aesthetics: the artist reserves the right to determine the stylistic approach/aesthetic or “look” of the commissioned artwork, as it will be rendered in the artist’s style. Reference provided by the commissioner will be utilized/followed as a guide in creating the artwork, but if you want something either more realistic or more “animated/expressive,” you MUST specify your preferred look when describing your commission. Please remember that even if a reference IS provided for a character, my rendering will have a unique sensibility to it.
11. Work-in-progress views of commissions in process can be requested by the commissioner, particularly for more detailed/difficult renderings. Unless WIP updates are specifically requested, I cannot guarantee them. The pace of creating artwork can be somewhat erratic, and as with everyone, life often gets in the way. A total of THREE WIP updates will be sent upon request: Rough sketch phase, clean line art phase, and full color. Please do not make continual requests for multiple updates, as I’m working on your commission and several others simultaneously. This takes extra time away from my work. A reasonable amount of updates is acceptable, taking my time into consideration.
12. Once the Line Art phase of the commission is approved by the client, NO further changes can or will be made to the artwork upon entering the color phase. Further or additional alterations/changes to completed artwork will fall under the “Edits” category, which will incur additional fees. The only exceptions to this are if a)colors for whatever reason do not match or are not in line with the provided character ref sheet (this is why a ref sheet is important for the artist, it makes this less of an issue), or b)if there is a significant portion of the art that is very clearly and obviously unfinished/rough in appearance (Note: this exception does NOT apply to “rough sketch,” “detail sketch” or “color sketch” tiers, ONLY to “full color illustration” works). Sometimes one or two little details get missed, and it does not take much more time to fix them.
