Spring and Summer Plans
4 years ago
Ciao meow!
I'm super not good at keeping up with journal updates, but some possible big changes to my schedule and living situation has led me to want to make sure that folks know what's going on. I think I'll be making another journal update later in the summer, but writing all this out will also help me keep track of everything tbh ^^;
So first off, my general commissions are currently closed (until perhaps the summer when I may take some orders, but no guarantees), so the only way to get a commission from me from now until some time in the future will be at a convention. The conventions that I plan to attend and an artist/dealer are:
Anthro New England (Friday and Saturday in Artist Alley)
Gateway Furmeet (Friday-Sunday in the Dealers Den)
And with some luck, Anthrocon (as an Artist hopefully)
I will only be accept a certain number of slots for various commission types at each of these cons. Only my $1 doodles will be done at the con, every other type of commission must be shipped to the customer after the convention. So far, my plan is:
Standard/Gore Badges - 5 slots
Mini Fullbodies - 5 slots
Small and Large Digital/Traditional Illustrations - 2 slots
Small Detailed Sketches - 2 slots
Experimental/Artistic Liberty Illustrations and Sketches - 2 slots
At-con $1 Doodle Drawings - 5 doodles per person
This may change from con to con, but I'm just rolling some ideas around in my head right now.
The reason I'm implementing these new limitations is because, as much as I want to take 20+ commissions again at cons like GFM, I need to make sure I can finish everyone's art before the Fall begins. I'm currently applying to a job that, in the Fall, will require me to move to a new location internationally. It's not guaranteed that I have the job yet, but if I do end up getting hired, I don't want to abandon anyone who may have commissioned me in the meantime. If the job falls through, I'll just pick things back up in the Fall with my general commissions and such, but until I hear from the folks in charge there, I'm going to be more reserved in taking commissions at this time.
Thank you for reading, and I hope to see everyone at ANE, GFM, or Anthrocon!
