I just wanted to apologize if I'm absent for a little bit. I just went to the funeral for my grandma who passed away the first week of November

She was old, overweight, and unable to really stand as she was in a care hole for a few months after losing the ability to move her legs due to them being to weak

She spent the last month of her life in her apartment and the last thing she did was take a nap as a caretaker left, smiling happily and closing her eyes

After that she did not wake up when they checked on her again, and after a medical team arrived they found she had died in her sleep, smiling happily still

I admit I wasn't super close to her but I loved her a lot regardless, as despite her having almost nothing she always put aside a portion of her federal income aside for me and my siblings because she loved us that much

I miss you Grandma......rest in peace. May God keep you safe until the day I join you

Hey guys! Sorry I have been gone for so long. Things have been a bit hectic for me at home recently.

For starters I learned about two weeks ago that the store I work at is closing down for good because of low profits. That and the lease for the land is to expensive and the company doesn't want to pay it. I don't drive yet or got a license meaning that if they don't get me into a new store within 20 miles of my house I'm going to have to quit my job

I went on a holiday for the past seven days with my family also, all the way out Oahu, Hawaii. It was honestly a amazing trip and I felt the most relaxed there I have felt in a while

But I'm back now and am going to try and be active again. I just wanted to apologize for my absence since I don't want to look like a baby member of this community for not being the most active

Hey, I know people here may not know Adastra well but I have been looking for people to rp a concept with. I currently am already doing it with one other person and they are God Tier good, but am always open to othrs. The idea is down below:

It's been years after adastra. Marco is on his way back to Adastra, having introduced my earth to the galaxias and gotten them to agree to open relations with adastra. I'll explain my setting in a bit, but basically its an alt-earth dieselpunk setting and the planet is loosely united in a confederation of all the nation states. Marco is heading to Adastra both as a diplomat and to see Amicus again, bringing along his cousin and commander in the Nordland army (nordland is a fictional nation of my setting), Ivar. Ivar is also bringing a small number of soldiers as bodyguards.

In my fictional people are technically united losely in a global confederation, so my idea would be that the human nations would be deciding on how to approach this situation. Then Ivar (my character) steps in, offering to go as a representative of both earth and his home country of Nordland. Due to him being Marco's cousin and a high ranking member of the Nordland military, Ivar and a bodyguard unit would go to make sure Marco was safe as well as to understand the Adastran culture better to help the Confederation better negotiate with them in the future! On the planet they would experience Adastra and Amicus and the others in the palace would get to enjoy Marco's company as well as learning more about earth, since they still dont know shit about it XD

After interacting there with them for a bit they would head back with Amicus over to Nordland after however long the mission in Adastra takes, and expose Amicus and others to earth by starting with Nordland. But then during a trip in Southern Nordland they would come across a village that had been raided by the tundri, finding it burned and the people laying around slaughtered, only to then be ambushed by some stragglers. Then Ivar would have to explain the Tundri issue to them

I wont go into further detail, but the Tundri would view the Adastrans as a fresh new prey that would make them even more powerful, and the characters would then have to be exposed to the worst of humanity while also trying to help the Nordlanders deal with the clan

After experimenting my idea with a potato I just found on the floor at the grocery store I work at, I have come to the conclusion that potatoes do not make good scratchers. It just made me sneeze and feel even more itchy

After going through the Adastra Visual Novel and remembering how much I love it (and the characters, like a LOT of love for the characters), I got a new rp idea

My rp idea is essentially a first contact rp involving my fictional Dieselpunk alt earth! It can be either in the fictional WW1-Austria inspired Osterland, or the Dieselpunk Viking styled Nordland (an ex danish colony). Ive been developing them both as they are part of a fictional island sub-continent in my dieselpunk alt earth, roughly the same size of the German Empire (basically germany and poland together).

Tbh the idea is very similar to Adastra, and while the reason for the aliens arrival is up for discussion (emergency landing, exploration, seeking saftey, etc) after being on the world for a while the alien encounters a injured human hunter in the woods, and after meeting and the human being patched up they get to know each other. The human would introduce the alien and their race to their own. Due to the alien in question having saved the human, it will immediately earn them the gratitude and respect of the Nation the human is from

But later they would learn that the nation the landed in (Nordland or Osterland) deals with a horrible enemy: the cannibals (Cannati Clan in Osterland, and Tundri Clan in Nordland). They must then find a way to both contact their own people again as well as choosing how to help the people of this land defend against the constant raids by these cannibalistic mountain clans

After this the aliens will have to find a way to live with the humans while also establishing their own base to try and contact their own people again, all the while working with the humans to beat off constant cannibal raids. The humans will also come to view the aliens as friends overtime, soon being willing to establish friendly relations with the aliens people

(also, if anyone does rp characters from Adastra or another Echo Visual Novel, that would be amazing! But not a requirement)

Hey, im sorry I just need to get this out here. My step dad who I love a lot is really sick, and while he has been recovering well he just had to go to the Hospital today to get an IV done to try and speed up the recovery. I know he is likely to be fine but I am still super worried as within the past week alone I lost not just a close friend of mine (who I considered a brother) but my Grandma Dita who was 94 yrs old and been with me for my whole life. I just needed to vent this because Im just super worried because my step dad isn't the healthiest already and I desperately want him to live.......Ive been praying a lot now and I just hope that you will understand if I am a bit on edge.

I need a hug....one of my good friends is dead. His brother left a message to me today to let me know he has been dealing with a covid complication and that last night a blood clot broke and caused him to die due to internal complications.....in his brothers arms while waiting for the EMT to arrive......I........I'm sorry I just......I need someone to hold......I just....can't believe a man I thought of as my brother is gone....

My idea involves the fictional nation I got and anyones fictional fantasy world. See, in my land there is a massive fogbank that hangs off our Eastern shores that is mystical in nature, often spitting out odd creatures and having the habit of making most ships vanish, float out in chunks and corpses, or sometimes even appear seemingly normal without the crew or with the crews killed in various ways. However there is also the chance that a way will appear through the fog thinner than the rest of it, allowing ships to pass through safely but not to land in their world. Think of it sort of like a vortex, a bridge between worlds allowing limited and slow travel from one to the other.

So basically the idea i have involves my people sending a small exploration fleet through one of these gaps in the thick fog, where they exit after a while into the world of the other rp partner(s). Being initially small in numbers they sail for the nearest shoreline, not knowing there are others already living there, and build themselves a settlement along the coastline before exploring outward. The idea is the Yazie people (human and beastfolk) slowly explore more and more of the land, encountering the groups of the land and attempting to make friends while also staving off the endless dangers that threaten to push them back into the sea.

These are from my fictional fantasy nation! This rp is also open to themes such as nsfw content, but it is up to the person I roleplay with. Im generally fine with most things but there are some things I dont like. These include gorey sex, abuse, harassment (persistent flirting doesn't count, especially if the character is drunk), domination (somewhat mixed about this, depends how far it goes and context), sex slave abuse, brutality in sex, child abuse, pedophilia, scat, hard vore, and genital mutilation. All these things are right out and I will not stomach them. Anything else is generally acceptable to me

I am so sorry I was gone! This was a hard year for me since I had to leave due to being sexually harassed on discord. Basically a friend from discord invited me into a dnd group that seemed fine at first, but one day I decided to look back and see what was talked about in my sleep. They were talking about sick shit like filling someone with urine or cum till they exploded, fucking someone while killing them brutally, literally fucking until they ripped through their bodies, and other sick shit. My parents found out and wanted to protect me so they took away discord. But then my parents went a step further and banned me from most sites due to horniness. Even when we moved past the incident, things didn't get much better as my two closest grandparents died, my family nearly became bankrupt, online schooling fucked over my grades, and there was a whole lot of emotional and domestic issues that nearly caused my family to break apart It took this entire year of me maturing and trying to get better at handling my emotions to get back here and I just wanted to apologize for being absent ;-;
