Hey everyone,

It's been a while, right? I mean, a long time between journals, I don't upload enough. I'm working on that other one, for real!

But I wanted to be a bit open today.

It's been about a year since I moved out of my old home, two years after I had to leave my job overseas to come back to the States. Since then, everything went to hell, while I was with my family. It was two really bad years and a lot of negativity, enough that I barely made it for this move. And when I did leave, when I went halfway across the country, I thought things would get better. I told everyone they did, all the time. And I don't think I was entirely honest.

Some stuff is better! In some places, I feel a lot more... stable than I have in years. I've had actual fun, had a friend to be around, all of that. It's honestly been the happiest I've been in a few years, which is saying a lot. I miss my job abroad but I am glad I took this plunge. I mean, I got back to writing, I met friends and fans on here, and I even started streaming! A lot of that has been really important to me and I can't believe anyone pays attention to me. I'm shocked, every day, by how much you guys can care. Friends, fans, whatever you all are?

You mean everything.

But I still barely sleep. I get these awful stress dreams that keep me from getting back to bed. I feel a lot of motivation issues, lacks of it or suddenly too much. A lot of stuff has hit me harder than it should have while I let important things slide too long. Been all over the place for too long, longer than I thought, and it's hurt more than a couple of people close to me. Those of you who stayed with me for all of it? All I can say is you all mean the world to me, more than I can ever tell you, and I'm sorry.

Anyone i let down too much and left? I'm just sorry.

This is actually really hard to write, honestly. Tearing up a little doing it, here at my desk. And I don't really know why I'm writing it, other than feeling like I just need to tell you all what's up. I thought that changing my location would help, and I still do somehow, but that's not all there is. There's only so much changing the outside can do when it's internally fucked up. And I guess that's really what I have to work on, you know? I can't expect things to change sitting still, but that's not just literal. I can't keep trying to run away from fixing my own feelings.

If you want change, some of it has to come from inside.

I'm figuring out what that means. Do I need to go back on anti-depressants? Maybe. Do I need to really sit down and... just talk to someone about everything for two years, the whole family stuff and how it hits me still? Yeah, that might help. I know a lot of what should and could and might work.

But I'm not sure?

I dunno, I'm not going anywhere. But I am gonna try to get better. Do better. Figure out what that means, what can help. And I'm going to work on it. I'll even try to be a bit more open with everyone, communicate better and work harder. Communicating how I feel has always been something I struggled with, bad upbringing for that. I need to change that, like so many other things. I can do better, I know it. I just have to work on it and actually do it.

I just hope you guys will stick along for the ride.

Hey everyone. I planned on posting a lot of stuff over the next week. Pics, stories I'm working on, the white rabbit plotline I doubt anyone actually cares about, whatever.

It might.. Be a bit delayed. Someone I know back in the US, someone really close to me, just passed away from complications from an incredibly rare lung disease. Like, a few minutes ago. It's really raw and I just don't know what to do with myself right now. I'm 5000 miles away and can't even get to the funeral, let alone have time to process all of this right now.

I'm just sitting in my room like... That's it, really. Sitting. So I'm sorry if I'm a bit quiet for the next few days, here or discord and whatever. I'll still be trying to do my stories and whatever but...

Hello everyone! I know I said I was back, and I totally am! I just was out of town a few days there; I had to go down to California to hit the Chinese embassy, which meant 2 train rides that took over half a day each! I also had to start frantically preparing because, this sunday, I will be moving to China for another year.

This does not mean I will be gone, just that my updates will occur at different times. Especially for the first two weeks, Stormwave will be on essentially a vacation in Shanghai! I will be writing a lot today, tomorrow, and on the plane, where I will then upload once I arrive in China and have everything edited.

What do you have to look forward to?

A character heavy/action based story that involves my great friend  planktonheretic... and myself, of course
A couple of commission stories! One of a villain seducing her hero into her lover boyfriend, some evil Queenly Zyla mindcontrolling her first hero drone, and yet another fun action story!

perhaps even some dark intimations of long time stories to come...

Excited? I hope so, several of these are almost done and will be shown starting on the 23rd or 24th. Until then, due to my packing/moving, there will be an upload hiatus for about 2 days. I am available on discord, and will be throughout the entire experience!

So I got some news on all of those family trials I mentioned last journal:

My father doesn't need major surgery. He does need a medical procedure, but it's considered a trivial and rather simple thing to deal with. The original tests hadn't showed it, but it picked up on the alternative version. We're all termendously relived.

Some other issues are also resolved, almost at the same time so... I took a couple days to myself, and now I feel like I can continue!

Hey everyone. i know I've been a bit behind this week on my usual goal. And a bit late in general. I really try to keep up, but I've been unusually stressed.

Just a couple days back I had my second job interview towards moving to China again, so tha's exciting and a tad stressful.

The bigger problems are family related. I have an Aunt who's suffering through Alzhiemer's, so we're always busy helping her out, and that's definitely taking a toll on my ability to focus here.

My dad is also having tests for a major surgery into his aorta, to replace a stent for an aneurysm. Laymans terms, the biggest blood vessel in his body could explode, and the thingie keeping it from doing that is leaking/the area is growing again. If he has to take the bigger of two options (which seems likely) it could be disasterous for his health, since he already has a reduced heart usage and some arteries aren't as healthy as they should be.

i just.. Some days I can't push myself to do anything, you know? It's hard.

I also had a couple stories done that didn't fit here (not hero related or human based) so i wasn't sure if i should post.

If anyone wants to just chat or whatever, toss me a note or a comment? I always appreciate hearing from you guys. Thanks, everyone, for supporting me. It means the world to me.

So one big thing I was thinking about, after coming home, was how I kind of lost focus of what I wanted with Stormwave. Yeah, the porn is all fine and stuff, but I also want stories. I want to really expand her as a character, not just her ass. So I'm going to finish my current commissions and stuff, but then I might try to focus a bit less on porn.

A bit, mind you! Not entirely!

I'll be making a guide for what's Canon for Stormy, and trying to open up to more canonical awesome stories with various peeps. Would anyone be interested in a real canon, instead of just disconnected sex? Please do tell me.

So I'm coming near the end of my insanely long travel time (wow, almost two months!) and am currently resting in the Netherlands. I plan to really work on my writing tonight (after dinner!) and over the next week. I should catch up on my work and get everything posted before I'm safely back home in Foxheim (America).

So I took a few days to rest after leaving China. That was honestly hard to do, as I had a great time and will dearly miss the people I left behind. I hope to see them again... But!
I started writing again! Yes, I took a month off due to the aforementioned OT, which totally killed my time to write. But now this fox is TRAVELLING! I'm hoping to use this travel to incredibly increase my productivity; ie I want to get 2-3 stories a week, 4 if I am lucky/bored.

So I'll write a list of what I have to do, though they will be in no particular order for completion;

Hello, true believers!

i apologize for the lack of frequency of updates; these last two weeks (and the next two!) I'm working overtime before I leave China. This means a small delay in my writing time.

But Stormwave! That's not enough to explain you not keeping entirely to schedule!

Yeah, and my students are kinda broken up with me leaving, so I've been getting taken by them basically every day I'm off or off early. I am still working, and hope to get at LEAST one done today (got a bigger and a shorter one) and will do my best!

Today is a sad day for everyone. Hero fans, roleplayers, movie fans, even just casual culture fans. There's a big loss of an icon for nearly a full century, one of the biggest creators in the entire genre of comics.

Of course, I mean Stan Lee.

No attempts at bad jokes. Stan Lee was one of my personal heroes. A guy who always did what he wanted, a man who believed in heroes and creating, and rising to whatever challenge you had. Even in his latter years, he never stopped smiling. He was a piece of history, an icon for content creators the world over.

The guy who gave me a thing I say on my journals, because I believe what he said about it.

"You know, my motto is 'Excelsior.' That's an old word that means 'upward and onward to greater glory.' It's on the seal of the state of New York. Keep moving forward, and if it's time to go, it's time. Nothing lasts forever."- Stan Lee.

But there's something I do disagree with. Our times together might not last forever. Actually, they won't. No person lasts forever. That's what gives life it's greatness; with every hello must come a goodbye, at least at some point. A small or a big one, we'll eventually part. And we did, today we parted with a hero.

But what he left behind will never die. Someone like Stan, like Bill Finger or Siegel and Shuster, they'll be remembered. They made our myths, the Prometheus to give us light and the Hercules to teach us humility. To a lot of us creating anything in this field, he was the Atlas, holding up the sky so we could have a place to create.

"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility."

I don't think there's ever been a phrase that so perfectly encapsulates a character. A single, simple sentence that gets to the amazing depth that Spiderman can be, and the relatability of what that phrase means for us.

I don't wanna gush too much, i just can't overstate how important Stan Lee was for everyone. This is not a tragedy, this is just a passing. A change, a move towards the next stage. He lived a life longer than most of us will probably ever have. And, aside from the unfortunate parts of his last year, he seemed happy.

I'll still miss hearing from him.

So I'll just say it again. Excelsior, Stan. Keep moving forward, because it's time to go.

The fox is back! From the dead and Southern China!

One Stormwave Fox disappeared for a while for a short stay with a friend in Shanghai, which was cool! Very nice city, though details will be written in a post somewhere at some point. Then she came back.... And got sick. Again. Now Zyla lives anew! So we'll be returning to the stories!

Which means... Announcement time!

There is a working (read; not strict, but hopefully workable) schedule for stories in the remainder of my time in China.
