thinking about making a (non-mlp) lewd game of some sort, and trying to map my options before committing to anything - the gameplay would be fairly standard for these types of things, in 2D, dialogue and image-heavy but no fancy animations or such, minor very simple minigamey stuff, mostly managing time and stats. my list right now is basically just:
- renpy
- rpgmaker
- unity
- flash
in order of my interest at the moment. i understand unity and flash would be the most powerful technically (barring actually starting fully from scratch) but i'm more of a scripter than a programmer and they'd require more work on getting just the basics running than i'm probably willing to put in. i know some unity but the 2d support isn't great, know zero flash.

any obvious options missing, or maybe like must-have expansions/assets for any of them? what would be the best version of rpg maker? i personally like the look of the one that does the native 320x240 res (it's likely what i'd go for anyway to speed up asset production and for the retro look even in other engines), which one was that? <<

renpy seems the best and easiest overall, but rpgmaker-style direct character control would be neat since i'd like exploring the environment to play some role ...

decided to make one for “assorted franchises” since tumblr makes it easy - the url is syoeec since i couldn’t come up with anything better, but stuff will still be signed syoee_b, and i’m still gonna use only one FA and IB account.

it will also likely become my “main” outlet for human-centric stuff if i decide to do more of it. i’m open to suggestions on franchises and characters, i’m hoping to develop my skill in various styles … ^^

- any suggestions for sites to post actual humans that allows porn? all i know is hentaifoundry, i guess the concept of "sites" is pretty outdated with tumblr and twitter etc. <<

as you've probably noticed, i've been posting slightly more (as in maybe every few months instead of waiting over a year)

so even though i'm "active" again, i have less time for art now and when i do have time i like to do my own stuff instead of commissions

so i'm keeping commissions closed until further notice, probably indefinitely. sorry to disappoint anyone who was interested. <<

however, you're free to suggest things you'd like to see, but i'm also likely to ignore them unless i happen to be into it myself. the type of suggestion that's most likely to catch my interest is based more closely on show characters/show situations, i.e. "plausibly (alternate hornier dimension) canon" ^^

right now suggestions are leaning towards a sausage fest (51 male : 43 female). << this doesn't necessarily mean "don't suggest more dudes", though i could've probably been more clear in the original post: the intent is ponified porn, not just a ponified version! more ladies would certainly be welcome, as i'll probably just genderswap most male characters anyway if i don't feel like pairing them up with girls. ^^

(i think i was actually below 2000 followers when i started the comic, it got kind of ridiculous ... but the tumblr graphs don't go that far back for some dumb reason. <<)

anyway, i figured i'd do something a bit different and silly to celebrate this time! that is: i'm gonna draw some lewd pictures of ponified non-MLP characters based on a random selection from suggestions.


you can suggest ANY CHARACTER FROM ANYTHING, with the following conditions:

* the character should be someone most other people could reasonably know too (i.e. no OCs or obscurities)

* no real life people (fictional live action characters are probably ok, just keep it sane/legal)

* any gender (though i might just genderswap males to females if i don't decide to pair them up with girls)

* suggest as many as you like, (EDIT: on second thought, try and keep it under like 5 or so and don't just say "the cast of <show>" or "everyone from <whatever>" since i don't wanna go around looking up what that means <<) but any groups of characters will be counted separated into individuals (unless i happen to be into the pairing or something)

* if yours feels like an edge case of some sort, do it anyway, i'll judge it case by case

* i reserve the right to veto anything too weird, unsexy, obscure or difficult <<


other info:

* please leave your suggestions as comments on this journal post (easiest for me to count)

* i'll gather up all suggestions probably after 2-3 days or when the voting slows down enough, and then i'll roll dice for which ones i'll draw (at the very least two or three characters)

* different people's suggestions for the same character will get counted as extra entries for the dice roll (if there are super obvious popular 'winners' i might do them even if they aren't rolled)
