Just a raccoon, (and sometimes a citra) wearing my mask, and looking like a bear.

Another bit of my "late" childhood passes
7 years ago
It is with major sadness that I announce the passing of Bob Dorough. Who's Bob Dorough, you ask? Bob was a bebop and jazz artist, pianist, composer, and performer. He worked alongside Miles Davis and Blossom Dearie creating a number of hit tunes. But primarily he's known for his work with the TV series Schoolhouse Rock, the Saturday morning "educational" series that taught basic principles in math, grammar, science, America, money and the earth. His songs influenced and educated several generations, as the show aired from the 70's through the 90's. You can enjoy the first song he wrote and performed for the series pilot below, "Three is a Magic Number." He was 94.
