Just as with sexual orientation, it is possible for one's romantic orientation to be directed towards different groups of people: the opposite sex, the same sex, everybody, nobody, and everything in between.
It's also possible for sexual and romantic orientation to be different. People who are asexual can still have an inner desire to fall in love and form a relationship.
But this focuses on the opposite scenario: people who can't, or won't "fall in love". These people might be asexual, heterosexual, pansexual, etc; the common factor is that they either have no interest in, no inner desire, or just don't want a romantic relationship, or their romantic attraction is limited.
It doesn't mean someone is cold-hearted, or doesn't want love, but romance isn't the only type of love that there is...
This page is pretty bare now, but I'll add more content over time, including a new icon to replace the current one... (it isn't very good, I know)

What are your thoughts on being aromantic?
It's confession time! At what point did you realize you were aromantic? Were you in a relationship when it happened? Or perhaps it was impossible to start one, because there was no one that could relate to you? We're not averse to healthy sexual relationships or fondness, but when that's as far as it goes, has anyone ever thought you cruel or incomplete? It's a rather crude, uneducated assumption, but could you blame anyone for misunderstanding? It's a rather minute berth here!
Why do you believe that the concept of love and romance is farcical or categorically inconsistent and therefor refutable? Do you feel like you could be in a relationship with someone or X amount of people intimately (sans the characteristic superficiality) for an extended period of time?
