Web VS Art: I'm tired
No, I'm not tired not of art making! I like producing art! :D
Well... let's proceed in order with the facts first:
Few weeks ago, I was talking about how social networks are degrading art to the role of mere content.
During the last two days, I faced two things that -this time- hit me personally: One of the -many- bot users on X deliberately ripped off my whole nickname and even the reference to my bluesky. Despite all, the X staff ignored the flags and the account is still there and two AI oriented platforms (AIEasyPic and CivitAI) have hosted an AI model trained on my own art and the results are listed above (to you the opinion):

Of course, the first thing I did was to gather all the reference to Laws, Acts and Directives in force in Europe and write to both the websites a Cease And Desist letter for Copyright Infringment, hoping it will do something (but I doubt).
Now the thoughts:
I feel tired, worried and disheartened.
I feel tired because being an artist online today means to fulfill successfully all a series of tasks to not fade away in the web scenario: You have to find the magic formulas to prevent socials from hiding your posts from your mutuals feed, you have to keep your discord servers alive everytime with new ideas, streams and activities, you have to post your stuff on multiple accounts because the userbase migrates here and there depending on what happens... and I struggle at ALL of those things because it's truly too much to be managed by ONE person (especially if that person has a job and a life).
I feel worried because I fear that if the forementioned stuff causes a fade-out of my presence online that may be easily compensated by some other "Fox Pop AI model" (this applies to me as well as other artists) and at the same time, I worry that my stuff might end up in some AI model.
I feel disheartened because... Socials keep existing and expanding, AI keeps existing and expanding, but... countermeasures/solutions?
