I'm a cute foxie with multiple talents, super friendly, and involved in the fandom for too many years to count. I guess you could say I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. I really like meeting new people, so feel free to note me. Yes, I'm a babyfur, and sometimes I can be a bit too playful, but I'm really harmless. It's all in fun.
I'm also enby ace, and on feminization therapy as of October 2022.

Game Meme thing

I saw this on shiniori319 's Journal. I'm a gamer, so I thought I'd do it.
1. You started playing games at the age of...?
I'd have to say 2 or 3, pretty much as soon as I could hold a controller. My dad played a lot of games with his friends, and I'd watch and I'd want to play too.
2. First game you ever played?
Most likely Super Mario Bros, since it was packed in with the system, but I remember games like Commando and Star Tropics played at my dad's friend's house.
3. First console you owned?
Personally? Sega Genesis. I bought it with money I made from mowing lawns in the neighborhood.
4. Consoles you own/owned?
I used to be a bit of a collector. I have owned/own: Consoles - NES, SNES, N64, Playstation, Saturn, Xbox, Gamecube, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, Xbox One, PC
Handhelds - Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, DS, DS Lite, 3DS XL, Nomad, PSP, Android devices
5. Your favorite genre(s)
Action/Adventure, Arcade, Racing, Rail-shooters, Shmups, some casual games.
6. Favorite Videogame Characters
Fox, Yoshi, Pikachu, Master Chief, The Prince of Persia (from Ubisoft's trilogy, mostly Warrior Within), Sonic, Tails, Psycho Fox, Rif of the Fox Tribe, Rhene of the Fox Tribe, Lucky Fox (Lucky's Tale), Conker the Squirrel... If I sat here thinking of every character I really liked, it'd be a really long list.
7. Which element(s) in games is/are most important for you (story, graphic etc.)?
GAMEPLAY! If the game's not fun, then I'm not going to care about anything else. Character design, it helps to have memorable and attractive/likable characters. Story and puzzles, not every game has to have a deep story, but I believe a game should challenge a player physically and mentally, be it with difficult but not cheap platforming or intricate puzzles that you're not rushed, but want to figure out. (i.e. Professor Layton)
8. You don't care about ...?
Aiming down sights, PVP, microtransactions, DRM, grinding, having to be max level to do anything with a group (I'm looking at you, WoW.)
9. Prefer PC or Console?
This really is a tough question. I'm sure there are strong advocates for both sides. PC is pretty much the ultimate console as it can play new games, old games, and emulate many older consoles. However, I buy and play consoles for exclusives and COUCH CO-OP! Seriously! Why don't companies make games that can be 2-4 player split-screen anymore? I play PC for graphics, customization, better controls for first-person, and free, stable online play. I play console games for experiences that can't be had on a PC, like Wii with its motion controls, Wii U with its tablet controller, and the fact that it's a lot easier to set a console up for 4+ players than PC...but they lose that advantage when the only way to play multiplayer in a game is over the internet. Consoles lose the social element at that point.
10. Your current 3 Favorite games?
Current, huh? Super Mario Maker, Grand Theft Auto V, F-Zero GX/StarFox 64 (it was a tossup)
11. 3 Games you didn't like...
Let me take that further. 3 games that left me feeling disappointed: Doom 3, Star Fox Adventures, Chrono Trigger DS (I love Chrono Trigger, but I was expecting a remake like they did with Final Fantasy III and IV, especially after they put a stop to the fan game Chrono Trigger: Resurrection, and what I got was a port of the PSX game, minus the loading times.)
12. One game that's totally overrated in your opinion?
Battlefield and Call of Duty series...it's not one game...but they're turning into annual franchises like Madden, and every release is over-hyped and overrated.
13. Ever played an online game, if yes which one(s)?
On...line? Like a tightrope walker? How is this a question? It's like asking someone if they've ever worn pants before. Is it even possible to avoid playing a game online these days, with always-online DRM which means you have to be connected to their server to play a single-player game?! Yes. Do you want to know my favorite online-only game? I'm normally opposed to first-person shooters, but I was hooked on Team Fortress 2 and played it more hours than anything else on my Steam library...by a large margin.
14. What do you think about ...Tomb Raider?
I like how it contributed to games as a whole. I believe it inspired exploration in a 3d space, which led to games like Ubisoft's Prince of Persia trilogy and the God of War franchise. I feel Crystal Dynamics made a better Indiana Jones game than any of the Indiana Jones games that have ever been made.
15. ...Tetris?
Some of the best gaming moments between my mom and I were with Tetris and variants which came after, like Tetris 2 and Tetris Attack. Tetris Attack is my all-time favorite puzzle game.
16. ...Sonic?
Well, yeah. At least until 2003 or so. I didn't really care for Sonic Heroes, but Shadow the Hedgehog was when things just went wrong for the franchise as a whole. Sonic Generations was okay, but pale in comparison to Sonic 1, 2, 3, K, A, and A2.
17. ...Spyro?
Again, a franchise that was great until the people who originally created it were no longer working on it. Like Crash, Spyro has been passed around so many times, it's lost its identity.
18. ...The Sims?
No, never really got into the life simulator.
19. ...Legend of Zelda?
I've only ever beaten LTTP and OoT, but I feel those are the two best games in the franchise.
20. ... Assassin's Creed?
Never got into it, but I heard it was originally supposed to take place in the Prince of Persia universe.
21. GAME OVER!!!
No continues? Augh! Alright....I'm going to try this again. I'll do better this time!
22. Game(s) you'd love to see?
Former members of the now defunct Amusement Vision to get together and form their own company to make the spiritual successor of F-Zero GX on Oculus Rift/PC
23. Game(s) you're waiting for at the moment?
Star Fox Zero, F-Zero?... Oh, and Mighty No 9....I was one of the first backers for the game, and spend over $130, and so far have only gotten to play incomplete versions of the game... But the new Special Demo Version is a lot nicer than the beta.
