Dear Friends and Watchers.
Long time no see. I am sorry for my absence, but I've been exploring different creative paths for me this past year.
I’m planning to start a new typographic art project though, and I need a piece of you for that.
I want to do a series of artworks in which I collect short statements - thoughts, dreams, hopes, feelings, regrets - and render them in a typographic form.
I have been doing this before, with thoughts that seemed important to me, to give them worth and capture how I felt at the time. Who I was at the time. You can see some examples over at my facebook art page here:

Now I want to break free of myself. Every one of us carries within a painful lesson, a cherished memory, an inspiring outlook. Something that made us who we are today, for good or bad. I want to invite you all, to send me –anonymously of course – a message. A message including one monumental thing in your heart, that you want to get out. It can be dramatic. It can be sad, or funny, or wise, filled with existential dread or pure love. Doubt, or faith.
I want to experiment, and try new things with this. I want to give each statement its rightful form.
Share with me one truth about you.
If you want to take part in this, you can send my an anonymous email by using this site:

I have tested it. The mail you send will be delayed up to 12 hours, but I will receive them without being able to identify the sender.

- I want this to remain anonymous. No one taking part should be feeling insecure, or afraid of what people might think of them. The point of this project is to make visible the pathetic and divine nature of being human.
- I will accept English and German texts. However, the final product will be in English, so I will translate as best I can if necessary. I also might shorten or rephrase some texts if they don’t work well as they are, though only in some instances. I will try to remain true to the actual meaning that has been sent to me.
- Try to keep it short, but real. Not only because the longer the text, the harder it is to make it aesthetically appealing, but because leaving out part of the explanation makes it much easier for others to find themselves in it.
- If you can’t find inspiration by yourself, try thinking about some of these questions:
What is the most hurtful thing you’ve ever told someone?
What do you have faith in?
What brought you back to life when you've staring into a void?
What personal lessons have you learned this past year?
Where do you want to end up in life? Do you think it will happen?
Where does your biggest weakness or greatest strength come from?
Finally, I want to say thank you in advance, to all participants. It takes a deal of courage and awareness to share something personal about oneself.
I hope to find an appropriate look for it and to create a worthwhile project with your help.
So long
Tim
