Hello, and Welcome to my Furaffinity Page. I am the Mistletoe Inspector and my mission here to inspect mistletoe everywhere on FA for the Holiday season! For too long, holly has been conflated to be the mistletoe, when the truth is that mistletoe is completely different from holly and shouldn't be confused with holly. Even Google has fallen into the trap of confusing holly with mistletoe, as a simple search of "mistletoe" gives you a plethora of holly images. Therefore, it is my mission to inspect FA posts to determine whether posters satisfy the criteria of correct mistletoe, with the main goal being to distance holly from mistletoe!

Thus, if a post containing a mistletoe contains the correct leaves, red or white berries, and the romantic situation mistletoe is connected with, it will receive a pass for correct usage of mistletoe. If holly is used in a romantic situation mistletoe should be used for, then it will fail to pass the mistletoe inspection. Visually, holly's main difference from mistletoe is the use of spiky leaves which real mistletoe does not contain, however holly does share the same berry colour of red as some varieties of mistletoe do. However, if holly or mistletoe is not being used in the romantic situations relating to kissing that mistletoe is traditionally associated with, the post (even if it's containing holly or mistletoe) will be disqualified and not be graded. Inspections do not cover kissing balls, Christmas boughs, or similar wreaths. I will also not evaluate YCH samples, adopts, or reminders.
