Annoyed Append - A recent discourse has left me with an all too familiar bitter taste that I'd wish I'd forgotten the memory of. Artists put alot of effort into their works no matter the quality, and as such more than earn the legal protections those works garner. Just because those works might be of an idea of your design doesn't make those protections any less valid. While anyone is free to do what with their ideas as they see fit, that does not extend to art derived from said ideas unless it is by your own hand. It is this very truth that I make every effort NOT to repost art that has been made for me unless under the express permission of the artist in question. I refuse to trample on the rights of artists and the protections of their works, and greatly wish others would do the same.
