So lately I've been trying to move forward with my life by bringing some closure to things that have vexxed me in the past. One major thing I've been wrestling with is card games. Back when I was 18, I started getting into Yu-Gi-Oh and even went to the tournaments where I got mixed results. I moved on to games like Magic and always tried to have fun with it. However there are always those elitist pricks that ruin my fun with "honorable control decks" and the like. Some of my most unpleasant experiences came from those whose decks took control away from me. It's an utterly humiliating experience to lose in such a way. Why do they do such things to other people? Is winning all that matters to them? Do they not care that they are hurting the feelings of those they do that too? I've always struggled with self esteem issues and stuff like that just makes it worse. Part of me wants to put them in a compromising situation like they did me and see just how skilled they are, such as telling them that if they want to with the match, they have to lose to me with certain conditions attached. But two wrongs don't make a right and vengeance against them is practically pointless.

Its not losing the match that I'm upset about, it's the fact of being humiliated. I feel like they're using their superior decks and skills to bully the lesser players.

I haven't played those kind of games in years, but it still come up in my mind every now and then and makes me angry when I end up thinking about it too much. I think getting it off my chest is one way to get over it.

That aside, I've been doing rather well as of late. I graduated from college. Though I am currently working in a warehouse, the job pays pretty well, well enough for me to get a car of my own back in August. It sure is a nice feeling being able to drive everywhere.

I've also been working more on my passion projects. I'm currently working on a story that I've had on my mind for a while now. I recently finished the first chapter.
