First off I just wanted to inform you all that I indeed got hacked over on twitter earlier this morning and to everyone I know here and on Twitter as well I'm very sorry this happened and I want to apologize for letting myself fall victim to a scam that I failed to see coming which has cost me dearly in terms of my own personal savings and a vital business site. I've been informed by friend via bluesky that it is a scam that has being going on for a while and I would like to warn you all about it.

For starters if you see my own twitter account requesting you take action to go contact someone on discord please report, block or ignore it for the time being. I've already written and submitted my report to Twitter support with all the info I could share with them.

This was the message from the scammer I got from twitter that started this entire mess, if anyone of you are on there still please be aware that THIS is the method by which either my account or another account there will try to contact you and scam you by:

As for the scam itself, It is a scam where on Twitter, a user that you may or may not be familiar will approach you with a message saying they had mistakenly reported your own twitter account for fraud and that your own account is threatened with suspension UNLESS you contacted a person on discord whose name they included in the message (for me it was somebody named "Michael Anderson" a "Verified X dispute support" person) is someone you have to talk with to resolve this issue.

Well due to my own naivety and me being too forthright I accepted a message like this from an artist I was familiar but never interacted with on a personal level that approached me out of the blue with a message like this and I took this message seriously and proceeded to contact this person.

To make a long story short what happened was that he convinced me to initiate a screen share change my own email address that was connected to my own twitter account while it would be "temporarily suspended" and changed it to one that would be handed over to an "X-Database" which was a grave mistake on my part and afterwards he requested that I "submit a request and make a purchase" to confirm my current account status and requested an initial sum of money that went from $250 to $650 and that it would be converted into Phillippine pesos that I had foolishly gone and sent but yet he requested more and more outlandish things such as requesting I go to sketchy websites such as remitly, paysend and to convert my funds into bitcoin or etherium and eventually I realized I was being duped, I had already fallen for it and disconnected as soon as I could. And I plan to see my bank to change my card and security accounts as well.

It has been a truly terrible day and I can only hope that I will have access to my twitter account back as soon as possible because there is a truly sick evil bastard using it as a skinsuit to trick people I know which I find absolutely sickening and despicable.

If you could all help me to report it being hacked and stolen for me I would greatly appreciate it. It was all entirely own my fault for not paying enough attention to what was going on.

I have also just finished filing my report on what happened to my twitter account to twitter support and I hope I can get it back from that bastard scammer soon.

I lost a lot of hard earned savings too which were needed for my own dental bills and I despise the thought of begging others to make for such a loss like that but because of the grave circumstances of what happened to me and to my savings I intend to recoup what I had lost.

It's also possible that I would look into offering YCHs or adoptables in the near future as well to make up for this. This whole experience has taught me there are always those who will prey upon the uninformed and steal all your hard fought earnings. I hope you all will never go through what I just did.

At times like this I'm glad I do have another platform to spread the word about something serious like this happening to me to the people I know here. I'm very stressed and upset about the whole ordeal and I will just try to continue work hard on my art and find a way to earn back the money I lost.
