Anyway, now to introduce this new character I blindly threw at everyone.

History: In the days of Ancient Egypt, when Pharaohs ruled, Senmes was a high ranking Scribe to the Pharaoh Ahmenrah. He took his job as a high honor and lived for the tales and scriptures he wrote. The history, the culture, he thrived in his days of the living. Happily in love with a concubine, and raising his adopted son. Raising him up in his footsteps as a Scribe. Until tragedy fell and his people were afflicted by a plague, which affected many of the citizens, as well as his son and the pharaoh. Both of them fell to the illness, much to Senmes' dismay. A week after the Pharaoh's death, Senmes was mummified and buried along with Ahmenrah in his tomb. Such is the tradition of the pharaohs highest ranking servants and scribes to be buried along with him in death.

In Senmes's death, he was reborn into a Yamask. Spending the first thousands of years avoiding tomb robbers and morning over his past life. Once he had evolved, he instead warded off Robbers who entered his tomb. Even killing about 5 of them. After his thousands of years being trapped in the tomb, he was discovered by Tyr, the Sableye. Senmes and his usual tactic of warding off robbers with an intimidating booming, "WHO DARES DISTURB THE GREAT AND MIGHTY SENMES!? SCRIBE TO THE MIGHTY PHARAOH AHMENRAH!?" tried to ward him off, thinking he was a thief trying to raid his chambers. Instead, it backfired and Tyr was unimpressed by said announcement and proceeded to mock him for thinking of himself as 'mighty' and 'great'. Despite Senmes's growing rage and annoyance at Tyr's arrogance, he was grateful that Tyr offered him freedom from the burial chambers. In exchange for the gems that Senmes had along with him in his burial. With that agreement, Senmes was shown out of the tombs and then proceeded to 'stalk' Tyr. Being the only one Senmes knew in this new world. THeir relationship wasn't the best however. Tyr found Senmes' personality as prideful, egotistic, and annoying and tried avoiding him. One day, while Tyr was talking to Ricci, Senmes appeared and Ricci found an almost instant fascination with him. Although confused by Tyr's warning of him being 'annoying'. Ricci found his attitude engaging and rather smart. So Ricci made a deal with Senmes. If he becamse her friend and followed her around instead of Tyr, she would give him a place to stay, and all the gold he could eat. Senmes quickly took the offer. Gaining both refuge, food, and a real friend he could find company in.

Explanation on the ref on the right
A personal headcanon shared between Me and Senmes's creator. As a Cofagrigus, his chest opens up like a typical sarcophagus. Inside is a ghostly void, such like when a Dusknoir opens their mouth and it's a void. Inside a Cofagrigus's void is their more humanlike form. So it's sort of like the ghost inside is using the coffin as a sort of shell to move around in. He cannot leave the inside of his coffin however. Others must enter the void to see his 'true form'
