Ah furore normanoram libera nos domine. "Deliver us, Oh Lord, from the fury of the Norseman."
I told you guys I downloaded an audio book about the Vikings, and was listening to it and writing it down to post for you. There are several passages in which he speaks in Old Norse (though this one happens to be Latin) and I wanted you to hear them, so I figured I'd just record it, and post it within the text. This is a test to see how well that may work.
I know the quality isn't the best, but I'm recording it on my eight year old camera from my tiny Kindle speakers. XD If there's a better way to do it, I don't know of it. Can you hear it and understand it alright?

lol, yeah, I was hoping to make it where you could just play it straight from the page like the music, but I'm guessing it needs to be a different file type. I don't know how to change sound files, though. :/ But I suppose as long as people can hear it one way or the other, it should suffice.
As for finding the file, I would suggest looking wherever your default download file is.

So, it turns out it wasn't the file type that was the problem, but that I needed to update my quicktime player. Now that I've done that, I have the ability to play it straight off the page. Maybe you need to update, too?
I haven't tried. But I strongly suspect. Go to Radio Shack (If your in the U.S.) and ask for a RCA audio jack, that plugs into your Kindle's headphone jack, and plug the other into your audio in, on your computer.
From there, use a simple audio recording software like http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ or I think windows has a basic .WAV recorder as well.
Once it's on your system in .WAV format, it's very easy to convert it to another file system like .MP3.
Feel free to copy, and print out this and let them read it. I'm doing it from memory so I may be a bit off (most say I'm a lot but :).
