God as a fan of the series (and a frequent Charr player) I absolutely love this. You nailed the Charr in more ways than I can list. My biggest applause goes to you getting the shape of the head/neck/back right. That distinctive hump can be hard to nail and you did it perfectly ♥
Aaaaaand I just fangasmed. XD
Since you mentioned he needs a name, here are a few proper Charr names I plucked out of thin air, if it helps in any way:
Valkus Doomfang
Atticus Ghostbane
Thrash Gnarlclaw
Decimus Warhowl
Corvin Darkfall
Thrull Shallowgrave
Hope it helps in your naming decision! XD

As I previously said, I don't play the game, so I can't really comment on any accuracy, but I definitely like the look.
And especially all your 'in-the-making' stuff, both in the video and the Livejournal.
Have to say, that's a nice way of being able to screw on the horns without need for external tools like a screwdriver. I'd guess the head itself is thick enough so that you don't feel the other end of the screw against your actual head?
Also love all the padding work for the body suit. That really gave it the 'bulk at the back of the neck' look.
I guess the jaws don't move, so that chin strap that can be seen at the end of the video, I'd guess it's for securing the head on more firmly?

Yes, if I made your head again I probably would have used screws instead of magnets. Magnets are faster and easier, but screws are much more secure. The nuts I use are called Tee Nuts, it's got a flat base, so there is not a sharp protruding nut to press against your head. I simply cover the Tee nut base with a piece of sheet foam for comfort. However for the charr head, the horns are so far forward from where my head sits, this doesn't really matter.
No, since I see out of the mouth, the jaw does not move, the straps at the end of the video are for securing the head firmly in place so it doesn't wobble if I move my head suddenly.

Great craftsmanship on this suit, so much so it entirely conceals the actor's gender and has a very distinct silhouette which does a remarkable job of giving the iconic Charr outline, making it overall an exceptionally well designed piece. The face is very, very well done, and does a brilliant job in bringing a Charr character facial model into reality; that's an extremely difficult piece to carry over, especially on a human frame.
On a random but certainly related note, I am gathering by the black leather armor, this particular Charr is Ash Legion? If so, superb choice. Probably my favorite of all Legions.

Oooooo.... I think this is the suit I saw when I looked at Comicon footage. This looks fantastic - very attractive looking charr that shows off some incredible detail. The armour is beautiful as well. As someone who loves GW2 and plays only charr... this is just awesome to see. :)
Well that bites. I would think that your charr was a lot harder and more creative to make than a batman costume. And the fact that you were able to leap around in it was huge bonus points.
Well, no matter what the results, your charr is the winner in my book, and I immensely enjoyed seeing you!
