Colorized version of the poster for RCFM 2013, which as you might know, did not end up happening. I'll probably do something new for next year perhaps maybe depending.
The original for this is still for sale btw

What's with the green thing in the center of her chest? Also, fantastic shading and texturing, and just epic use of shadows.
I don't know what the deal is; I halfway made up everything in this picture
Rick, don't you know a communications device when you see one? In the years since space travel first began, it was discovered that placing the communications device over the upper chest made communications more easily understood over placing the mic over the vocal cords. (Am I making this up? Yup. LOL.)
Oh, by the way, the thing near her mouth isn't a mic, it's a CO2 collector. It collects her CO2 emissions and breaks it down into it basic elements, carbon and oxygen. The carbon is compressed into diamonds, which are sold after touchdown to pay for the most recent space trip, and the oxygen is returned to the cabin as breathable gas. So, there, nyah.
It's a small laser to blind you after you repeatedly ignore the "My eyes are up here"

But I wouldn't have even cared about that if you hadn't had the shiny there in the first place.
Love the green eyes, but the best part has to be the labels for all the buttons and toggles and stuff. "Science", "Love", "DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES". Great job, Rick =D
Light Speed's too slow! We have to go straight to... LUDICROUS SPEED! ^_^
I knew, KNEW mind you that Ludicrous speed would be a setting when I saw writing by the throttle. Well done!
And now I just noticed "The Code" to the left of the keypad. Old school gaming FTW!
Damnit, i almost want to print this off or something so I can better read what all the buttons say :P
Space coons! *presses all the buttons, especially the forbidden one*
The lack of Plad speed makes me sad.
Awesome work and SO MANY references.
You even managed to get the Konami code in there. Colour me thoroughly impressed, sir.

Awesome work. :) I love the perspective and lighting, and some of the button labels. XD
Very cool, a little claustrophobic, but awesome. :)
D000000d~ this iz amazingu~! :D great colour-jorb on an already epic line-art piece!
She's cute. and the expression on her face says "My God, it's full of shinies!"
This is beautiful. It reminds me of this cover: http://www.comicvine.com/albedo-3-a.....-3/4000-25418/
It took me several seconds to realize this was a female. (I was too busy looking at all the shinies.) However, when I saw the sketch, I knew instantly she was female. Why? I couldn't tell you. I think it was her eyes. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE this one.
I'm picking up a sense of fear and uncertainty in her expression.
