here is my final for next year's Rare calendar. Made myself a little nuts trying to match up all that ribbon and harness but happy with the results. And I got to paint caribou! And just for fun here's the palette I used to paint this:
Raw umber
Burnt Umber
bruint sienna
yellow ochre
titanium white
Ultramarine blue
Pthalo blue green shade
cadmium red medium
cadmium re light
These colours are all from my main palette with which I paint most things.
Preorders are open so go here to get yours! ! http://anthrocalendar.deviantart.com/
11x14 acrylic on illustration board.

Apparently, Santa decided to make some changes to the reindeer for this year's sleigh ride...
Not really. Santa's sleigh is traditonally pulled by Reindeer which are the European version of Caribou I prefer the name caribou. Those these guys aren't particularly tiny:)
Ah good point, I've obviously been in furry fandom for too long and don't even notice such things.....
I'll have them in hand at Furfright and will put one aside for you to pick up at MFF.
wow this is gorgeous work! I love all the ribbon and bells these guys have on. Do you sell any pieces like this?
This original is for sale of course and I can always be commisioned to do a simialr pic.
Already put my order in. I always pick this up. I can't say I'm surprised, but I am disappointed that there do not seem to be any acknowledgement to the origin of the holidays themselves.
Dominus tecum

oh god the things I want to do with them. Mostly just want to cuddle up with them
Wow, this is astonishing work! I've never bought anything in conventions but if I were to go at MFF, this is something that would really pick my interest! Well done and good success, I'm sure these calendars will sell well!!
This looks amazing. You did a wonderful job with the paints, I can't wait for the next year too see the calendar.
