Look carefully...
The main feature of this old photo is to show just how close I was to this group of wild raccoons. I believe this is just as possible with a vast variety of wildlife, given time and proper respect. Did you find three raccoons?
Look higher.
Yeah.....that's a raccoon on my back, born and raised wild. The white is the muzzle. It's probably "Claws". She would actually ask to get up, and I would lean over so she could climb up without shredding my back with her sharp claws she was named for.
For the record, this photo was taken with mom's loaned Canon SLR, taken on a tripod with auto-timer, in the woods, at night, no ambient light, with generic 100 speed film. Good thing it had a flash :-P And I think one of the raccoons smudged the lens where my forehead is. And it was scanned in the 90s by a lame hand scanner. So yeah.....could be better! But it gets the point across.
