One of many commissions I've had piled up that I'm whittling away at; a character pic for 
Christa, also known as Christa Earthstar. This was good to demonstrate my ability to draw T-rexes that don't look like Tyra. I emailed this to her months ago, but haven't heard from her, so if anyone knows her, please let her know.

Hey now, I don't have them on watch, and when it comes to the wolves there isn't much of a variety. But dinos? Man oh man, prehistoric lizards a plenty! I'm just sayin' maybe some love to some other dinos, like pterodactyls or whatever those spitting lizards with the puffy mane where.
It's all good art, but raptors, T-Rexes n' brontosaurus get kinda boring.

Honestly, I always thought Tyra was pretty damn fine, myself... but I'm probably partial. But I understand a lot of people bitch about artists drawing the same thing over and over again... and I’m sure it does get boring... and I’m rambling.
This does bring up an interesting question - How variant would species be? I mean, like those dirty hymons (No. I’m not that hard on for furry, I just thought it cute) I’m sure there are some differences in height, length, weight... but hmm. How similar do you think dino kin would be, if poor Azala took over the earth, so long ago? Reptites all looked so bland... but that might have been the limitations of sprite work.
Also, does this mean you are hiding your commission work from us?

i_love_critique I begin my review of this piece.

Going into this review I admit I compromised some of my professionalism by not being objective. Well how was I not objective you ask... Well I don't like scaled creatures I think that they are all well and good as long as they maintain the ten foot distance my restraining order demands. Seriously how the hell do pure scalies tell male from female... There are no breasts there! -ahem- I'm sorry I promised myself I wouldn't do this so, let me put my professional critic pants back on. For quality of the art its... got it's points though there is a significant lack of muscle definition making the thing look somewhat toony and the increased shine in parts of the picture enhance this fact. Plus aside from some small details that one would 'have' to throw in like the stripes on her body there is a significant shortage of them. In fact if I didn't know better I would say this picture was shat out as to please the person that paid you. Not saying that fur should be angry mind you, just saying I would have nitpicked this to death with said details. All in all I would say this picture is average, not doing anything particularly bad aside the aforementioned personal gibberish, though not going above and beyond the call of duty with many muscles for detail whores like me to oggle.

Thank you for the critique-- I really appreciate it. I've been trying to put out a balanced amount of 'toony' and 'not as toony' stuff, but as of late, I really haven't been uploading much of anything.
But thank you all the same for taking time to crit. I can only try to improve and take more time on future works. :)
