This painting is one of many for my senior thesis show (still untitled) exploring the journey of two fantastical characters in their wondrous world.
6"x8", gouache on watercolor paper mounted to panel.
*** I am very excited about my coming up thesis, so hope you guys like what I'm sharing! So far I'm on 7 out of 18 paintings, but I tend to stop when the paintings are %90 done, so they all need some finishing touches. I'd love some constructive criticism and if you guys have any ideas for the title of my show that would be awesome as well. ***

I'm afraid I cant offer any criticism. I know it doesn't help and its probably a generic thought, but I think its a wonderful painting. Their world by appearance seems to be a beautiful place. Good luck with your thesis.
I love it. maybe "From another perspective" would be a nice title. Either way awesome work!
Hey Sora, it's been a while, but I remember critiquing a painting you did a while ago, you've got much better values in this one, the foreground reads a lot more clearly :D. Nice work. And as always, your style is really cool.
The only glaring criticism I could offer on this one is that the girl's left paw is out of perspective. Based on where you have her laying, and where her leg would be, the paw would be facing more toward us. The way it's drawn here, it looks like she'd be uncomfortably bending her foot toward her center, rather than relaxing. It's hard to say what I mean without redlining, though. I know you were going for the close-up perspective on it, and I think the size of the paw is about right, just not the angle.
If I have any input for the name of your project, I'll let you know!
